When some people hear about numerology they shiver and cry devil worship.
But little do they know that much of the Bible was originally written
in the Hebrew Language and secret messages are embedded in Biblical
texts.
No attentive reader of the Old Testament can fail to notice that a certain
sacredness is attached to particular numbers namely “7,” “40,”
“12,” etc. It is not merely the frequent recurrence of these
numbers that are intriguing, but their ritual and ceremonial use which
is of utmost significance.
Television shows have featured many Hebrew scholars discovering “bible
codes” which is merely a form of Gematria also known as Kabbalistic
numerology. Many of these shows are televised around the holidays, particulary
Christmas and Easter.
Geomatria is related to the word “Geometry.” Geomatria signifies
that each letter of the Hebrew Language represents a numerical
value.

Now,
there are various religions that utilize numerology under various names
and methods, for example: Abjad is the science of numbers used by the
Sufi (Islaamic mystics) to prove the accuracy of the Quraan and
their corresponding esoteric philosophy. Each letter of the Arabic alphabet
is equivalent to a number which has mystical significance.
Many of the ancient Greeks mention the power of numbers like the Plato
(a student of Pythagorus) proverb as follows:

“Numbers are the essence of all things visible and invisible”
Another point that is imperative to make is the fact that if you or
anyone you know feels that numerology stems from negative sources they
may need to take their children out of school, question their own educational
background and consider their lives on this planet because everything
around us is based someway directly or indirectly by numbers.
