Among the various groups studied were Vietnam veterans, many of whom experienced PTSD that manifested as regular ongoing nightmares. Most of the veterans reported that the nightmares stopped the day they used the Healing Instruments. In following up with these veterans five years later, the nightmares had not returned.           

The Instruments were also shared with incest survivors, specifically women who had been sexually abused during their early childhood years by their fathers and/or other males. Many of these women felt that they had become hardened inside, unable to relate to men and to accept physical affection. After using the Instruments they reported feeling calmer and easier about having relationships with men. Most felt they had been relieved of the resentment and hurt they had carried for years.              

The Gentle Wind Project healing technology alleviates life's hurts and wounds by working to eliminate mental and emotional harm at its source within each person's non-physical energetic field. Once the damage is treated and the non-physical structure is restored, protective behavior patterns can drop away. People shift from living their lives trying to cope with their past hurts, to living lives based on natural good will and well-being. When emotional burdens are released, we can live in the present and make positive contributions to our own lives and to the lives of others.              

It should be noted that the Instruments are not being offered as a substitute for any form of physical medicine, but rather to help alleviate the mental and emotional distress that accompanies any long term life-threatening illness. The Gentle Wind Project has brought the Healing Instruments to various cancer support groups and results with the patients are very positive. Cancer patients who use the Instrument feel a reduction in anxiety, fear, insomnia and fatigue. Family members who have used the Instruments experience decreased stress levels and a sense of relief from emotional burdens.              

These results were corroborated by independent healthcare practitioners who introduced the Instruments in clinics and hospitals around the world. In mirror pilot studies conducted at an integrative medical clinic in New Jersey and in a pain management clinic in Ontario, Canada, all of the patients reported a decrease in pain, anxiety, fatigue, and depression after using a Healing Instrument. Most patients also experienced an increase in self-esteem, energy levels and inner peace, and an ability to take charge of their lives and health decisions.
