Dear Donna,
I am a teacher at a daycare facility and work with toddlers - my favorite age group. I've heard a lot about Indigo Children lately and am trying to identify such children in our center. How would I know them for sure and what can I do to be the best teacher and mentor for them?

Your question is an important one and a pleasure to answer.

Number one - look for the little rebels (the system busters), the humanitarians, the peacemakers and the artists. These very special Beings of Light are the pioneers - the trail blazer scouts making the way for the next new children of the new earth, the Crystal Kids. They are here to assist humanity in raising our vibration to one of peace.             

Number two - Indigo children [so named for a predominant color in their auras - editor's note] tend to resist authority and are very logical. They expect grown ups to be just that grown up, mature and logical. The logical part is the tough one because these special ones demand logic from life, their caretakers and authority figures. The answer, “Just because that's the way it is or because I said so” will not soothe their precise minds. If an adult cannot or will not explain the logic of a rule or an action to the indigo their respect factor for that adult begins to erode. It is not unusual to hear an indigo child say to their parent, “You're supposed to know - you're the Mom (or Dad) this time.”
