Is everything connected and everyone connected? I think so… We have been in the dumps for several months and slowly crawling out of the dumpster. I hear myself saying, “Isn’t anything easy anymore?” Then I remember we create our own reality and we’re making things harder and why is that? Why did you miss the turn off on the expressway and have to drive the extra miles? Were you just not paying attention or did you need the experience? Why did you pay a bill late and the power company shut you off? Did you need that extra $350.00 deposit going to them, for some reason, or is this a lesson in paying attention? Did you need stomach cramps to show sympathy for your daughter that has this issue every month? I don’t know.

But I believe we bring things to us to learn and create our reality, and I believe the Universe brings us experiences, good, bad and indifferent to help us learn. Either way, none of it is a mystery. I just trust God/Goddess has our back. There isn’t one thing happening that we didn’t sign up for or agree to when we came to Earth University this lifetime. Here is where we are and as we get older the time passes by and the urgency of getting all our lessons done can cause anxiety. You can screw-up when your young but not past sixty. This is the time that you give back and interestingly enough you want to do everything right.

I have a book that many people don’t know about that I want to share with you. The name of the book is “The Impersonal Life”, the author is Joseph S. Benner and the first copyright was 1941. When I had my bookstore called SunGlo, in the 90’s, I recommended this book often. This may sound weird, but it’s like the book was channeled from God and repeatedly it says that you are nothing from nothingness, and the supreme energy that I call God plants every thought and every idea and uses you for His/Her Will to be done. I was raised Catholic, but the religious dogma never stuck with me. I grew closer to a more spiritual understanding to life and heard more truth and freedom as I learned Metaphysical beliefs.

I have the 13th edition of “The Impersonal Life”, the memorial edition, where they found two letters, dated May 17th, 1917 written by Mr. Benner in an old worn wallet that reads, “Dear Father, Thou has placed in my heart a great desire to give forth unto the world the Message of ‘The Impersonal Life.’ I know that this is Thy Desire, and that Thou now supply me with all the means necessary to give perfect expression of ‘The Impersonal Life’ both in my life and to the millions of my fellows in the manner in which Thou hast shown me.

As Thou hast privileged me to be the agent to give to the world this new process, I ask that Thou guide me in all ways to that end and bring to Thy Work the greatest possible returns. It is Thy Work, Thy Idea, Thy Desire, Do Thou, O Lord, through me quickly bring it to pass that Thy Will may be done on Earth even as it is in Heaven. In Christ’s Name, I ask it. Joseph S. Benner

So, my point is this, when I think I’m in charge and the burden of proof is on me, that’s when I go to “The Impersonal Life,” and get the help I need. Just giving it all over and “Letting Go and Letting God” brings about a calm from the storm and a way to take a deep breathe, get centered again, and listen for the next idea to come through. You see, we channel all the time, and the more we trust this information the better and easier life becomes.
