Jib Jab is back and when I saw them pop into my email it helped me decide what to talk about. Jib Jab are the video clip people that ran really funny stuff on President Bush and his blunders during the last elections. You can check out the site at www.jibjab.com

So, now we have mid elections coming up and, even though they don’t involve Bush directly, they are more important than getting the cowboy out of office.

We need a balance in both the House and Congress. Everything in my world is Spirituality. Now, having said that, my comfort and hope comes from understanding that God/Goddess is ultimately in charge, everyone is learning the lessons they came to earth to learn, yada, yada, yada…

Now balancing the world will take a major upset in the political scheme of things. It’s high time the leaders learn their lessons and we’ll get to watch…

but they are scary to watch; sometimes our animals are smarter.

I gotta tell ya: my faith is strong, but I’m worried. I follow politics closely and we are in trouble. The changes that need to happen just don’t have the people/ leadership that could implement the sound plans that would make sense for the future of Americans and the rest of the world.

Bush always says we have a new day, a new world to deal with, but then he reverts back to Wild West tactics that are outdated and deemed barbaric. He isn’t respected by many countries and the ones that seem to tolerate him are those with financial and security ties that are enabling them to the point of no return. I think since our invasion of Iraq, other countries don’t trust us now and think, “who will stop us?” Collectively they think they can.

What justifies going into another country and taking over, even if we want to make things better and have good intentions? We cannot continue to do this and never apologize when we know we made a mistake. There’s a protest in Budapest, Hungary. Maybe we should go straighten that out as well…and why not go to Thailand and mind their business too.

I think we have put the rest of the world in a difficult position, but when we had some boundaries and honored other leaders and presidents, we earned respect from them and some even liked that the US was the “Godfather” looking after the world, like family. This position demanded that we were fair and just. This President has dabbled in every apple cart, turned it up-side-down without a plan to pick them up gain. We all know about rotten apples and how they contaminate everything that touches them.

Mr. Bush is correct about one thing: We have a New World, but our enemies are the same old ones. We have infuriated them into madness that already comes easily. Remember, we’re the Country that teaches how to deal with fear and anger. We go through therapy for these dysfunctional emotions.

Maybe part of the balance is for us to get out of the leadership role and let other countries have a chance to share in the limelight. Maybe the human species has evolved enough to allow us to pull our troops out of places that speak badly about us? Maybe minding our own business and only assisting genocide or helping when asked could work…

You know I’m not a Bush lover, and didn’t he say “if we fight them there, we won’t have to fight them here”…and didn’t he start the name-calling? Well, I still didn’t like it one bit that Venezuelan President, Hugo Chavez called President Bush the Devil. He had a stage at the UN General Assembly to spew his opinions (which I guess is fine), but how do you teach that free speech and freedom is worth fighting for and then make a big Ta-Do when they say what they feel???

But, they should be allowed to come here for the meeting and speak freely once they return home.

That’s a catch 22 alright. So why can’t we just elect men/women that have the proper language skills that would always choose the words that speak frankly and directly. Language can have a bite, but shouldn’t leave a sting. We can sell anything with proper language. Can’t we elect someone with a broader vocabulary next time?

We need a strong woman in the White House…but unfortunately if she’s strong she can’t get the job. Men, in general, still dislike strong women. We’ve come a long way and so have they, but I don’t think (Hilary) will run but I would vote for her if she did and I think she’d do a good job.

I’ve written this before and feel it’s true: the Democrats are nicer people than the Republicans. Bill Clinton did a great job considering how his ideas were challenged at every turn. It amazing anything got done…

The hatred that was constantly expressed to him, the constant distractions with the Forty Million Dollar real estate investigation that was never proven even with a carte blanche dollar amount. He left us with Trillions of Dollars surplus, and we should be thanking him for his good work. What would our debt look like without that money to spend on war? But, he did have sex and we know that’s a sin….

Please vote for smart people.
Blessings,
