The month begins with the sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars in the accommodating sign of Libra, the sign of the scales of equity, fairness and balance. It is the function of Libra to achieve harmony through cooperation, mediation, compromise and sharing. On the 2nd, Mercury – the planet of rational, logical thinking – enters Scorpio, where our thoughts delve below the surface to peer into what is hidden, mysterious and private. This is a good position for research and any types of probing, but be careful not to read something into what is not there. Sometimes things are what they are with no hidden agenda.

On the 6th we have the full moon in Aries, also known as the Harvest Moon. This is the time to look at the balance between the needs of partnerships compared with one’s individual agenda. On the 9th, Mercury enters his shadow. By now we’ll start feeling the effects of the pending retrograde. Start backing up your computer on a regular basis and expect mechanical devices to break down.

The New Moon is in Libra on the 22nd. Mutually beneficial agreements may be initiated at this time. The 23rd marks the sun’s entrance into Scorpio along with Mars, followed by Venus on the 24th. Scorpio suggests the urge to merge with others, appreciating what they bring to the table. On the 28th, Mercury reverses his tracks in Scorpio, and will remain retrograde until November 18. Watch for communication and logistical glitches, paying particular attention to things of a subtle nature. This is not the time to safely make and act upon assumptions unless you enjoy making a fool of yourself.

On the 29th, Neptune moves forward in Aquarius, bringing greater clarity to the attainment of universal causes. On the 12th, 14th, 17th, 19th and 20th the moon will be void of course either most or all of the day. This means that the moon makes no aspect to any other planets and is therefore not in it’s strongest position. It is best not to initiate any major undertakings on these days, unless you want your efforts to be for naught.


Aries (Mar. 21 - Apr. 19)
It’s time to make the adjustment from the “it’s all about me” approach to the “it’s all about you AND me.” Accommodating the needs of others is not first and foremost in your vocabulary, but that is not to say it is impossible. And if you can master such a concept in the weeks ahead, you’ll make greater strides and will have reason to pat yourself firmly on the back. If you’re not already in the habit, record your dreams and review them on a regular basis. Talk them out with those who are receptive. The feedback should prove most enlightening. The full moon in your sign on the 6th is the one exception to the bending rule. Your personal agenda may actually hold water.



Taurus (Apr. 20 - May 20)
Productivity is the name of your game, thanks to an array of planets in your solar 6th House. Even when you’re off the clock, you seem to find a laundry list of things to keep you occupied. Find a happy balance and remind yourself that you and only you are in a position to care for your body. Keep plenty of fruit at hand to satisfy that lifelong love affair with sweets. Go back over advice given to you by experts in their field. There’s a good chance that you’ll stumble across highly relevant information that didn’t occur to you at the time it was given. People you meet for the first time have a ring of familiarity, perhaps emanating from a former lifetime or two. Guard against digging in your heels as Mercury reverses himself on the 28th, unless of course, you’re fond of wasting your energy.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
Flirtatiousness becomes you. You may feel as though you’re falling in love all over again, but watch the tendency to let things get quickly out of hand, and pace yourself. If this is meant to be, they’ll still be around tomorrow, so don’t try to cram everything into a short period of time. It can’t hurt to observe the actions of children, as their perspectives easily complement your own. You’re certainly in a take-charge mode so be ultra conscious of steering your own ship. Medical tests are not necessarily that accurate, especially if they are conducted later in the month. Expect to have them done over again. Meanwhile, don’t sweat what might actually be inaccurate test results.



Cancer (Jun. 21 - Jul. 22)
Your famous homebody ways are accentuated, due to a plethora of planets in your solar 4th House. Perhaps you feel the need to redesign or at the very least rearrange. Go for it. Aesthetics take priority over practicality. In the process you’re apt to stumble across fascinating tidbits that you didn’t even realize were lurking in the background. Just be moderate in the adjustments you make. What appeals to you now may seem totally off the wall a month or so down the road. Go the extra mile when dealing with family members. Make a point of putting yourself in their shoes. Without a doubt, compromise is definitely within order.

Leo (Jul. 23 - Aug. 22)
It’s time to be expressive. Get your thoughts down on paper, no matter how radical they may seem, then toss them around for review. Two heads are certainly better than one. Don’t take criticism personally.
After all, you want your ideas to come across as clearly as possible. Despite your love of the spotlight, it’s essential that you allow yourself some time alone for reflection. The more you are hidden, the better you like it. Rethinking family issues may be particularly relevant right now. Ask for clarity, even if it means pulling a skeleton or two out of the closet.




Virgo (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22)
Financial matters hold your attention, perhaps because of their see-saw status. This is to be expected so don’t sweat every detail, despite your natural tendency to do so. Remember the more you share, the more will come back to you in turn. Your keen eye for precision resides in hog heaven lately, thanks to projects at hand that allow you to analyze and fine tune. Follow your detective-like nose. Snooping becomes you and pays dividends. If some sort of old issue continues to lurk among you and your siblings, get it out in the open and allow the healing to begin. It’s time to let go of grudges or other unpleasantness from the past.




Libra (Sept. 23 - Oct. 22)
With Mars in your sign until the 23rd, you’re jam packed full of energy with ample to spare. You may have a tendency to bowl people over, so look for a happy medium when it comes to forcing your agenda on others. Probe into financial matters early in the month and do whatever homework is necessary. Strive to get your finances in order, almost as if you’re preparing for an audit. Expect money to flow in and out at a vigorous pace as the end of the month approaches. Meanwhile, if you feel the need to pamper yourself with an addition to your wardrobe or an adjustment to your “look,” go for it. Pay close attention to advice given during the full moon phase on the 6th. Major projects are best initiated after the new moon in your sign on the 22nd.



Scorpio (Oct. 23 - Nov. 22)
Don’t be surprised if you feel like you’re in a state of suspended animation. With your co-ruler Mars occupying your natal 12th House, a lot is brewing in the background – it’s just that nothing seems to be surfacing. This can feel most frustrating. That should change once the parade of planets in Libra makes the transition into your sign and your natal 1st House, starting the 23rd. Meanwhile, conserve your energy, find contentment through meditation and reflection, and let your inner self have free rein. As Mercury reverses himself on the 28th, find a variety of ways of getting your point across. Even though you know you’re speaking English, others simply don’t comprehend.


Sagittarius (Nov. 22 - Dec. 21)
You’ll have little difficulty accommodating most of the current cosmic influences, which invite you to maintain a high social profile. Look for an array of humanity to cross your path, including folks from all walks of life. The variety is what keeps things interesting. Your greatest challenge arises when it comes to expressing your opinions. You’re not one to mince your words, as you tend to be direct and to the point, sometimes painfully so. However, with Mercury in your solar 12th House, you’re strategically better off keeping your thoughts and opinions to yourself. If expressed, they’re likely to be misconstrued. Reserve risk-taking for the 25th and 26th.



Capricorn (Dec. 22 - Jan. 19)
ou goats specialize in the bottom-line approach to things, preferring the cut and dry. Yet, these days you must realize that there is something to be said for taking the diplomatic approach. Attracting flies with honey is not illegal and in fact may prove more workable. Those who are in a position of influence over you will respond to the sweet stuff more readily than you think, so approach them accordingly. It will pay off in the end, which is what is most important to you in the long run. As the month draws to a close, give your ambitions a break and make a point to get out and socialize. Friday the 13th might actually be lucky for you if you take other perspectives into consideration.



Aquarius (Jan. 20 - Feb. 18)
Although you may not be actually walking the halls of your local educational institution, you may feel as though you’re eager to learn as of late. Planets in your solar 9th House find you highly curious – bent on broadening your horizons and theoretical perspectives as much as possible. Travel is also a reasonable scenario, in which case your destinations hold a vast contrast to your familiar home turf. Pisces (Feb. 19 - Mar. 20)
It’s fair to say that you fishes enjoy the world of fantasy and imagination. Such is the case these days, especially when it comes to the world of dreams. Let them be a reflective guide to your interpersonal interactions. Much of this is due to strong activity in your solar 8th House, which can also trigger very strong passions.
