The Temple of Health
by Jackie Robinson
In the heart of Atlanta lies a treasure for the health conscious – and even those who are not. Here, three healthcare centers work to bring an integrated approach to today’s medicine: Plastikos Surgery Center – the Temple Beautiful, Millennium Healthcare – the Temple of Sacred Medicine, and Avatar Cancer Center – the Temple Illuminati, all created by Dr. Susan Kolb. Temple of Health weekly radio talk show is also hosted by Dr. Kolb, through which she and her associates are able to “gather ideas, to cross breed.” Information gleaned from guests on the show can be incorporated into the treatments and functions of the health centers.
Guests on the 10-year radio show include the most innovative and leading edge experts in spiritual science and holistic medicine. There is no shortage of guests available, such as scientists from “What the Bleep Do We Know” to well-known spiritual leaders of our time. One of Dr. Kolb’s favorites is Paul von Ward, author of “Gods, Genes and Consciousness” – a book that presents the idea of Yahweh and other gods being “ET’s.” The primary focus of Temple of Health is teaching the value of personal respect where one’s health is concerned, be it spiritual, mental, emotional, or physical. Through the resources highlighted on the radio show, Dr. Kolb feels its highest value is “an opportunity to learn.” And we all know knowledge is power.
All are a part of the whole – the purpose behind the creation of these healthcare centers – integrated medicine. Dr. Kolb is “primarily interested in the role of consciousness in health.” When your body tells you something is not right, you listen. This is a higher level of consciousness than many of us are used to. Further discussion of this concept of conscious health awareness may be found in the article “Spiritual Protection Through Intuitive Guidance,” found on the Millennium Healthcare website. Our being knows what is best for us as well as what is detrimental to our overall health – body, mind, spirit. All there is for us to do is be open to its messages and act upon its guidance.
This is the philosophy behind the passions of Dr. Kolb. Through the protection and direction of Quan Yin, the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy and Compassion, the centers were created with the purpose of helping people “connect to their higher selves. Allowing them to access their God-given intuition, so they know what is causing their health problems,” thereby allowing them to affect a healing power in their lives.
It was after realizing her past life connection to the Temple Beautiful in the city of Atlantis that Dr. Kolb received the vision to create her healing centers. She is a passionate advocate of reformation in the research and treatment of difficult diseases such as Gulf War syndrome, chronic fatigue and other toxic illnesses. Before the research can even progress, changes must occur in the federal mandates and the FDA. We know what causes many diseases, but first “there must be social resource for change.” Examples of illnesses requiring such changes are silicone breast implants that can lead to fibromyalgia, and mold that is contained in drywall and transferred to the resident within its walls.
The energy and enthusiasm of Dr. Kolb was infectious in our interview, as it is weekly on her radio show. She is hungry to know more about how our health is impacted by not only our environment, but also by our own treatment of ourselves. I leave with you two final thoughts she shared with me that I hope will, in turn, inspire you. The first was a quote from Alice Bailey: “disease is the result of an inhibited soul life.” This can be disease of the mind, body or soul. Remember disease is merely dis-ease. What we choose for our lives is what shines through – if we live in a toxic house, eat toxic food, exist in a toxic relationship, ultimately we will incur a toxic illness. The second is a Sufi teaching that states there is nothing true in this dimension. Truth stays put over time; to access its treasures, we must go into the archives and constancy of eternity.
Three things Dr. Kolb recommends to be incorporated into your life for an overall improvement in your health are a positive attitude, good habits and a spiritual practice.
The Temple of Health radio program is broadcast Saturday mornings from 9:00 – 10:00 AM on station 1010 WGUN AM.
