Man
of Light: Mauricio Panisset
By
Holly D. Elmore
In her book, Man of Light Kimberly Panisset
Curcio passionately explores her time shared with her love,
Mauricio Panisset, a phenomenal man open to his extraordinary
healing gifts with magnificent lights. When Mauricio performed
a healing, lights would literally soar out of his body
like lightening flashes. A man who selflessly traveled the
world healing those who called upon his spirit, Mauricio delivered
his soul's calling this lifetime.
As Kimberly herself admits, without seeing these phenomenal
lights first hand, it is hard to fathom the reality of their
existence. However, her extraordinary story exudes divine
truth. While reading her book I could sense the spiritual
magnitude of Mauricio's lights and the importance of continuing
his healing through her account of their time together and
the continuation of his profound work.
Also intriguing are her stories of several other Brazilian
healers who operated on patients with long intimidating needles
or non-sterile kitchen knives without traditional anesthesia.
With the assistance of a group of mediums sending ectoplasm
(accumulated life force energy) the surgeons performed the
operations quickly, with little to no blood flow and
without pain to the patient. Kimberly beautifully describes
both the phenomenal healings and the apprehension of several
of her friends and family members while awaiting their surgery.
Can you imagine witnessing a surgeon cutting into an alert
patient with a butcher knife and the patient does not even
flinch? Can you imagine knowing your turn was just minutes
away?
Although her book is filled with astonishing short tales of
the daily phenomena that was a normal part of Mauricio's
life, Kimberly's focus is always on the spiritual aspects
of their time together. Kimberly filled a void in Mauricio's
heart that enabled him to expand upon his already amazing
healing practice. As a team working intimately together, Kimberly
and Mauricio traveled extensively and selflessly to assist
those souls calling for a divine healing.
In addition to sharing Mauricio's lights with the world,
The Man of Light is a beautiful love story:
the tale of a young, newly divorced woman with two small children
who falls in love with an old man and shares a
wonderful, but all too short period of time with him before
he leaves the earth realm. Throughout the book, there were
many times I could feel my heart smiling at the beauty and
depth of Kimberly's and Mauricio's love. In the years
following his departure, Kimberly faced her torturous pain
with dignity and courageously pursued their mutual goal of
building the Enoch Foundation, a healing sanctuary in the
jungles of Brazil.
As her heart slowly began healing from Mauricio's departure,
Kimberly realized her divine purpose would be best served
back in the United States at her home in the North Georgia
Mountains. Within several years, Kimberly began giving energizations,
Mauricio's healing process where the higher energies of
light are evoked to bring healing and awaken ones spiritual
abilities. Soon thereafter, she began teaching others how
to participate in the sharing of this divine healing process.
Many who received these healings could sense Mauricio's
presence during the session as Mauricio stayed close to Kimberly
for years from the astral plane as her companion, partner,
spiritual teacher and her beloved.
As with many love stories, the heroine manages to both heal
and grow from her tremendous loss and finds love once again,
as does Kimberly. There is a playfulness to her uniting with
her new love, Charles, which is a wonderful mini-story filled
with patience and pure devotion.
In a much deeper sense, this is a book about self-discovery
and inspiration. The small tales within the story are
wonderful, but I learned so much about spiritual healing and
transformation from Kimberly's philosophies, included
mainly in the final third of the book. Early in the book,
Kimberly's deep pain is evident in her writing style and
as the book progresses you can literally feel her healing
through the fluidness of her writing. She is a heroine in
the truest sense as she lets herself be human and feel her
pain, which is a courageous act many of us diligently avoid.
By her honesty in the pain, she is able to truly heal her
soul and open her heart again to love. What an inspiration!
If I have one quibble with this book, it is Kimberly's
assumption that her readers are both spiritually informed
and aware. However, she provides a glossary at the end with
easy to understand descriptions of many spiritual terms used
throughout the book.
Kimberly continues to share the healing powers of Mauricio's
lights, through both performing energizations and teaching
the technique to spiritually minded students at the Delphi
University in the North Georgia mountains, just one and one
half hour north of Atlanta.
