Poised at the threshold to one of the most important times in our
history, we humans stand waiting. This is a time of transition leading
us to new beginnings. Knowledge is springing up and flowering if we
know where and how to look for the answers. His fans describe William
Henry, investigative mythologist and author of over ten books on the
subject, as taking over where Joseph Campbell and Zecharia Sitchin left
off with symbolic myth. He returns to Atlanta November 4 to share his
latest findings.
William, you have recently visited Egypt and discovered something
there?
“Yes, I have been researching the Mayan prophecies and they say
that December 2012 we're going to be experiencing a rare alignment
with the center of our Milky Way galaxy. Predicting that at this time
we leave our present fourth world and enter a fifth world. It's
a time of transition, but primarily new beginnings. The main focus of
the 2012 prophecy is the emergence of what the Mayans call a serpent
rope from the center of the galaxy. From out of this rope emerges a
God of enlightenment, or a group of enlightened beings.
“There's a Maya scholar named John Major Jenkins who says we
can take out that archaic term “serpent rope,” and insert
a modern technological word, which is stargate or wormhole. What the
Maya seem to be indicating is that in December 2012 a stargate or wormhole
is going to open and from it will emerge a Messianic type figure with
an enlightenment based teaching. My latest book is Egypt, The Greatest Show on Earth.
The reason I went to Egypt is because the way that the Mayans
portray the serpent rope is exactly the way that the ancient Egyptians
portrayed their gods, sailing through the stars. At temples throughout
Egypt you see examples of this ship of the Gods moored,” he explained.
“What I've done is compare the way the ancient Egyptians portrayed
this ship of the Gods, moored on Earth, to the way modern scientists
draw stargates and wormholes. They're exactly the same. If you saw
the movie Stargate or Contact, that's
what we're talking about. Carl Sagan said there's no way an
extraterrestrial civilization can travel here in a star ship because
the distances are too far. Along with physicists at Cal Tech, he came
up with the idea of the traversable wormhole as a method by which any
extraterrestrial civilization could come from point A in our galaxy
to point B, Earth. Contact shows a decent representation of how science
says this could actually work. Jodie Foster goes through the tunnel
system in the movie. That is the Maya serpent rope, or tunnel system
that runs through our galaxy. It leads to the galactic center, just
as it did in the movie.
Can you tell me who the Illuminati are?
“Traditionally they are thought of as a secret society operating
behind the scenes, controlling earthly political events. But they also
are considered to possess the ultimate secret teachings. If you look
up the word Illuminati in Webster's you will get: newly baptized
Christian initiate,” he told me. “My question is if the original
teachings of Christianity were about this transformation of an ordinary
person into a Christ-like being, what happened to those teachings? That's
the focus of my research. They exist, they're real and there has
been a conspiracy for the last two thousand years to withhold the teachings
from humanity.”
Were the teachings withheld for control of power, I asked?
“Well, at first glance you would think that, but I think it's
quite a benevolent act. Were the average person to come into contact
with these teachings, if they understood them at all, it would likely
fry them. The average person simply isn't ready for this type of
thing. That is why they call it a Grail Quest. The object is to become
self-enlightened or self illuminated. No church or religious authority
can enlighten you, period. You can only do that yourself. You have to
separate yourself from the organized structure and take the path yourself.
“The Mayan elders tell us there have been four previous worlds
and in 2012 we'll be entering this fifth world. Those worlds are
compared to the traditional elements of fire, air, earth and water.
They say the fifth world will be symbolized by ether, the life force
or love force. At the same time the Mayans are predicting this, what's
happening here is stargates and wormholes represent the apex of our
science and we have a convergence of technology. With the four sciences
of genes, bits, neurons and atoms coming together into a super technology,
we are now gods. But the only way it's going to work is if we add
the fifth element, ether or love.”
