Is It A New Planet or Just More Chaos?

Uranus, the planet of discovery and change, turns direct early in the month. It is as if the thrust of discovery and change is released. And speaking of discovery, the recent spotting (June 4, 2002, 10:48 am PDT) of the largest object in the solar system since the discovery of Pluto promises to be that - a new planet! The name “Quaoar” (pronounced kwah-o-wahr) has been given to this large body behind Pluto. The word comes from the creation mythology of the Tongva, Native Americans. So excitement and change continues. November holds a Lunar Eclipse Full Moon on the 19th, which always brings promises of change. It is in the loved earth sign of Taurus and brings a need for us to examine our worldly values and possessions. Perhaps the energy of Quaoar will help us to address reducing the chaos of materialism into a spiritual order. And will we find that the “back of seven giants“ will turn out to be seven world leaders or countries?  The questions about change will continue. However, don't expect quick answers.  Venus in retrograde will keep us reworking finances and our values and Mars in Libra keeps us working at bringing our lives into a manageable balance. Until then sing and dance, and pretend that you remember how to enjoy life.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 - Nov. 21)
Happy Birthday to You! Happy Birthday to the Zodiac's greatest researcher. The entire month of November represents a celebration for you. It also represents some themes that are constant throughout the year. So here are a few of those trends for the next twelve months: New starts that will lead to the experience of progressive and cutting edge success. It will be important, however, for you to keep a very open mind to the possibilities that come. So start out by practicing your willingness to embrace change. Change your clothes; change your hair and change where you leave your toothbrush. Nothing seems to remain the same except for change and perhaps, your deep Scorpio inner truth. As Robert Fritz reminds us, “If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or reasonable, your disconnect yourself from what you truly want.”

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 - Dec. 21)
Your wisdom is being sought out by others now. The professional life is changing and busy. While at the same time home and family make their demands.  So with all of this chaos, does it make sense to take a get-away break and go by yourself? Connect with nature; it always has an uncanny way of bringing spiritual renewal. Stephen R. Covey's words have great meaning for you now: “Spiritual renewal is personal; it often spreads out and influences every aspect of your life. It is about being privately centered upon inspiration and tied to timeless truths.”

Capricorn (Dec. 22 - Jan. 19)
A greater need to research and dig deeper is in store for you as Saturn, your ruler, spins retrograde. This is the time to plan for long-range changes and moves. Some divine discontentment may develop this month that will become a theme for many months to come. The need to make changes will haunt you for some time before you are ready to take a leap of faith. Plan your work, work your plan and keep a diary. The thoughts you nurture now have wisdom and meaning for the future.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 - Feb. 18)
Of all times of the year this time is fortuitous for you! Uranus, turning direct on the 4th, releases pure creative juices in your mind and soul. Your idea generator spins with endless possibility. You will find energetic answers to some of life's questions in the dreams of the night. Other people's resources may be available to you, if you ask. Do not pine after one who is not emotionally available. Toward the end of the month, you can bring action into your relationships that will be refreshing.

Pisces (Feb. 19 - March 20)
Many people will enter your life this month. Some will cheer you on and some will criticize you. Review the paths that have been closed and those that have been opened. Look at your long range goals. These are extremely important, as change with a capital letter will be forced next year. Now is the time to build a plan based on desires without outside influence. Remember to look up so you can see the rainbows for they are there.
