HeartMath Solution: Children nowadays start making conscious food choices at a younger age than ever before. They soon realize that fresh fruits and veggies offer sustenance; sweets and pork rinds do not. Growing up, we also learn that the thoughts and feelings we choose to 'chew on and swallow' are equally if not more important to our overall balance. Why repeatedly consume toxic emotions - the psychic equivalent of gin and cigarettes - when we can just as easily choose to nourish and nurture our emotional intellect instead of polluting it? The HeartMath Solution (available in hard back, paperback and audio book) offers clinical research in how to harness and channel our highest heart intelligence to bring resilience, clarity, and faith in the highest outcome. Its meditative exercises help us move through the negative effects of brain chatter - fear, doubt and anger - by bathing the heart in a warm, soothing glow of gratitude that naturally radiates upward. The resulting bridge is awesomely powerful; it simply takes us higher. Reprogramming our own physiology helps erase those dusty old scripts that never served us in the first place. Only by leaving past garbage at the curb can we energetically progress to the present and sow flowering seeds for the future. Emotions liquefied become flow, and mind aligned with heart becomes intuition, the highest insight of all. The
HeartMath Solution is also available as a workshop Karma, Time, and Mysticism by C.G. Clayton
One of the major goals of mysticism is to transcend the illusions of this world while remaining an active participant within it. Mystics function in a realm where time and space play no part. Unlike the clairvoyant who temporarily sees into the past or future for information, the mystic experiences all events simultaneously and ultimately plays an active role in the co-creation of this reality. For example, during a particularly powerful meditation, I found myself moving through time into different lives and experiences. Even when the meditation ended, I remained aware of a simultaneous existence in alternate realities. A similar theme surrounding the student-teacher relationship exists for me in Ancient Egypt, the timeless mountains of Tibet, among the Mayan culture, and the present. I soon realized that I was working on the same issue through a string of lifetimes. Perhaps if I could break this pattern in this lifetime, I could free myself from the karma of all lifetimes with that pattern. For a mystical moment, the illusion of time and separation was revealed. The illusion of time is one of the greatest barriers to becoming a functional mystic. Logically, the question arises: If we are co-creators of reality and time is illusionary, then why canšt the past be changed? Simply put, the patterns that conscious beings, groups, and civilizations have created (known as karma) prevent it. In order for patterns larger than individuals to change, the archetypal patterns must also change. Humanity must begin functioning at levels higher than personal reality to include the mystical state. The path to becoming functional in the mystical realm begins with the healing of the spiritual seeker into a clear way of being. Many groups, psychotherapists, and teachers provide proven techniques to resolve ego issues. The spiritual initiate, having completed the work of forming a healthy and whole ego, encounters archetypal teachers and essences that result in teachings from a higher realm of reality. These archetypal events provide a blueprint to perceiving the world in a different way. With enough drive to understand, the initiate finds all illusion slipping away. Then, there is an emergence into a mystical oneness. It is through this interconnection of all life, that humanity begins to resolve karma to recreate the space-time web that ultimately determines our fate. Gayle
