The process induces a deeply relaxed state slowing the breathing, and resulting in deeper more efficient  oxygen exchange. Muscle tension is reduced allowing even the walls of the blood vessels to dilate. Ultimately decreasing blood pressure and easing the workload on the heart. It is in this relaxed state that living  beings are most receptive to the flow of energy. In a sense they (particularly humans) get out of their own way to replenish their energy with the deliberately channeled life force energy from a trained E.I.M.A.R. initiate. It is unconditional, freely given, generously supplied, and channeled with the intention to help the recipient.

The help is determined by the recipient's needs. A practitioner may be aware of a particular health concern of the recipient but the depth and force of the flow as well as the area profoundly affected is controlled by the recipient. Recharging the chakras and smoothing the aura with the E.I.M.A.R. modality permits the Universal Life Energy to freely flow throughout the recipient. To “cure” is to remove all evidence of a disease and to “heal” is to render the ability for a life form to achieve its own natural balance. Sometimes this does result in a cure.

The E.I.M.A.R. practitioner could also select a personal “helper” like a swirling vortex, a light, the image of God, an angel, a spirit, a Saint, or anything that symbolizes beneficial power.

The Life Force Energy could be delivered to the recipient being seated or lying down. A meditation precedes the treatment, then the practitioner sends energy through the crown chakra with the right hand while smoothing the aura with his or her left hand. Then she moves the right hand to the next chakra (forehead) and “sweeps” the aura with the left, repeating the same until the seven chakras are done.

When applied by itself, E.I.M.A.R. promotes healing by releasing tension and instilling life force energy enhancing the body's natural healing mechanism. When applied with other methods like Reiki or Therapeutic Massage, it clears the way for the energy to enter the recipient with less effort.
