“Reach
Out and Touch Someone”

It
is the month of the year when we exercise the greeting card cliché
“Reach out and touch someone.” The old Sun is rolling around
in the heavens in the practical earth sign of Taurus, the master of
relaxation. And yet, Mercury continues its surprises and reversals
in retrograde motion right up until the 20th of the month. We always
fair better in communication melt down when we kick back and go with
the flow. The Sun moves into the dual action sign of Gemini on the
21st just in time to make corrections for all of the Mercury upsets
that do occur during the first part of the month.
We have a Lunar Eclipse (May 14th) and a Solar eclipse (May 31st)
to set the dynamics of the future. Big surprises will be brought on
by these eclipses, as in sudden engagements or marriages, births,
divorces and job changes. Until the stage is set by the eclipses,
stay grounded and try the following: Search out a forgotten friend.
Dismiss suspicion and replace it with trust. Write a real love letter
with a real pen and paper and mail it with a real stamp. Even today,
we could find much value and promise in the old ways.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
Happy Birthday to You! Happy Birthday to the Zodiac's longest
lived sign. The entire month of May rallies a celebration for you.
It also represents some themes that are constant throughout the year.
So here are a few of those trends for the next twelve months: Friends,
lovers, co-workers or family from the past may just show up when you
least expect it. A return to a prior way of doing things is certain.
You'll keep a watchful monitor on finances and will strive to
do the practical thing. You'll make some changes that surprise
those who know you well. They will question just how well they do
know you. By late summer, you'll find yourself in high cotton.
In everyday terms that means abundance of substance and ways and means.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
Think back now over the past two and one-half years. Pay particular
attention to the struggles and limitations of that period. There have
been some, right? You had to do what had to be done whether you liked
it or not. What did you learn? In what areas have you become an expert?
It is those areas that will begin to reward you for some time to come.
By June you will feel that the limitations have been removed and what
remains are the rewards.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
In the grand scheme of things, May is a good month for you. You'll
make some new friends and they will be different from the norm. You'll
learn some new ways to do old tricks. The area that you will want
to be clear on is resources. Double check the bank book for debits
and credits. You could find an error that works to your advantage.
When promises are made to you by others, follow up. You'll be
glad you did. There are new serious goals right around the corner.
Discipline will be the key.
Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22)
The important question now is: did you bite off more than you can
chew? The merry month of May is an evaluation time and it is for the
purpose of answering that question. You may want to clear your slate.
This will enable you to take advantage of the new developments in
your professional life that will surface by the end of the month.
And speaking of chewing, this is a good time to take off some of those
extra pounds you have put on recently.
Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)
Is that work place sort of nuts right now? Murphy's Law may seem
to have a hold on you, but here is your chance to be a star. The answer
to the chaos lies in something that was done some time ago. Your mission,
should you decide to accept it, is to go backwards with a fine tooth
comb and find the errors or missing keys. Those around you will be
amazed when you solve the puzzle. Simple isn't it? And that is
the way you like it!
