Aquarius:
Tell us what students will learn in the four day introduction
in June?
P.C.:
The four day Introductory Training is open to all serious
seekers including professionals who wish to deepen their
own process and to more fully and deeply assist others.
This will be a good introduction to body psychotherapy
and Core
Energetics as a spiritual evolutionary process. Following
the basic curriculum of the four year program, we
will explore: Penetrating the Mask, Releasing and Transforming
the Lower Self, Enhancing the Higher Self, and Uncovering
the Life Plan. Students will begin to learn about concepts
of energy and consciousness as they relate to this evolutionary
process. We will explore: character defense patterns, techniques
to work with the model of the mask, lower self, and higher
self, techniques to work with body to release unconscious
material and physical tensions, how to uncover spiritual
longings, and how to assist yourself and others to evolve.
Aquarius:
And the four year Professional Training Program begins in
the fall. What kind of students are attracted to this training?
P.C.:
Professionals and lay people. People who are truly longing
to change their lives for the better and evolve. People
who want to integrate working with energy and spirituality
in their lives and/or practices. We offer two tracks, professional
and non-professional.
Aquarius:
What does the four year curriculum cover?
P.C.:
Students will experience and learn about the four phases
of the Core Energetic Process. Participants will explore,
confront and transform defensive patterns which keep them
from being in touch with their own Cores. This exploration
will release the energy of their love and pleasure, connect
them to their soul's truth and open them up to their
unique gifts - the source and greatest resource of one's
work as a therapist. The first year builds the foundation
of the work. The second focuses on techniques to work with
the body, with consciousness and energy, to release blocked
emotions, and consciousness. The third year focuses on integration
of the spiritual aspects of working with character defenses
and Core Energetic techniques. Continued work with the concepts
of mask, lower self, and higher self, and the relationship
of heart energy to spirituality, love and healing are explored
and nurtured. Students begin to work with each other more
clearly. Supervision is offered. The fourth year is strengthening
one's gifts. Specific topics such as transference and
counter transference, psychopathology, sexuality, and ethics,
are covered.
