In order to go on this inward journey, you must be surrounded by unconditional love and non-judgment. That's the heart. Many people use the word “unconditional,” but their actions do not reflect the sentiment. There are no “buts” to unconditional love. This process teaches how to lead with spirit, heart, and humbleness, not logic. One can't love or forgive others, unconditionally, if he or she hasn't thoroughly come to grips with him/herself.

Your hand must always be present with honesty about self and ready to help whomever crosses your path. The hand represents the action of the work. Act your principles. Through your own willingness to be honest about who you are, where you've been, what you fantasize about, what you've done, what's been done to you, and what you desire, you help others share what might also be happening to them, Helping Other People Evolve and planting seeds of HOPE.

By following these steps you become a “HOPE-HOWSE,” the loving spot that lives deeply within you. The key is to do it, work it, BE it.

Jane talks frequently about the concept of “love thy neighbor as thyself.” She asks, “How are you going to love your neighbor? Your neighbor isn't just the person who lives across the street. It means humanity. It means all of us. So my neighbor is the young man in Columbine High who went in and killed. Those are my neighbors. My neighbors live on death row. If you point the finger at one person, there's three coming back at you. And I tend to then try for myself to look at the three coming back at me, take my inventory first.”

Jane is also opening a healing practice called Howse of Healing, based on the same principles as HOPE-HOWSE. She will utilize her formal training as a therapist and Reiki master to provide healing and love. Her practice will incorporate guided meditation and Vibrasound, a powerful tool to reduce stress and achieve a state of relaxation by using music vibrating through water. Her focus will be deep therapeutic work, going deeply into the secret places where we so often hide.

HOPE-HOWSE provides emotional and spiritual support and healing for anyone who needs or desires it. It is a safe place to rest a weary soul or find refuge from the pain in the world. When Jane is in town, she facilitates SundayNite@HOPE-HOWSE and many other events. These peaceful evenings of sharing, meditation, and human connection are open to everyone.

The impact of Jane's message can best be described by an experience Jane had while speaking to a group of advanced high school students. At the conclusion of her speech to them, Jane asked if there were any questions. There was total silence. Surprised, she asked again, “Nobody has any questions?” After a pause, a young boy stood up and said, “Did it ever occur to you that we are speechless?”

Jane's message is sometimes so shocking, so intense, so soul-wrenching, and yet so humbling, we are left numb in the wake of it.
