INFAITh Convention

Aquarius readers are long familiar with hypnotherapy instructor Barry Seedman, Ph.D., and his wife, Reiki and Karuna Ki Master teacher, Nan Seedman, Ph.D., D.D. Several times each year, the Seedmans offer trainings in the Atlanta metro area, and their teachings have enriched many, many students. Barry Seedman is an internationally known speaker and instructor, with courses offered on four continents. He has appeared on national television shows, such as “The Montel Williams Show,” “The Sally Jesse Raphael Show,” and “Eye to Eye With Connie Chung.” Among his many honors is the National Guild of Hypnotists' 1993 “Instructor of the Year” award. His Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist trainings have opened the field of hypnotherapy to students in New York and Atlanta for years, and will be offered in Las Vegas this year. Nan Seedman has eighteen years of experience as a Master Teacher of Reiki and Karuna Ki. Her Reiki and Karuna Ki classes enchant students with spiritual, magical visualizations, practical guidance in the use of the symbols, and life-changing attunements. It has been my great blessing and honor to be counted among their students.

This year, the Seedmans are offering something new to the holistic health community in the Southeast: the very first annual International Network for Alternative and Intuitive Therapies (INFAITh) Convention 2001. I recently interviewed Nan and Barry about the Convention, and I'm sure readers will be excited about this event.

Aquarius: Tell us what people can look forward to seeing at the convention.

Nan & Barry: We are very excited about INFAITh's 2001 Convention in Atlanta. Over the three days, we will offer seminars by fifteen different speakers from around the globe. They include Atlanta's own Charles Skillas, Ph.D., who will be speaking on Spirit Releasement. From New York City, Dr. Trudy Beers will discuss hypno-birthing (imagine giving birth without pain!). From the Netherlands, John Payne, an internationally renowned spiritual channeler of “Omni”, as well as facilitator of “Family Constellation Therapy,” will offer both a channeling and a special FCT workshop. From California, Bruce Kaloski, Ph.D. will discuss Medical Hypnotherapy and Hypnotic Anaesthesiology and, also hailing from Atlanta, Patricia and Massi Mercer, fast becoming pre-eminent in the energetic healing field will be discussing DNA activation and 7-Ray Healing. This is just a sampling, for there will be much, much more!

Other topics being covered include “Developing a Marketing Plan for your Alternative Practice,” “How to do group hypnosis presentations on weight loss and smoking cessation,” and “Developing Your Own Psychic Abilities.”
