The legendary Blackmore's Night's new release, Past Times With Good Company, is as exciting to Blackmore's Night fans as the latest Harry Potter book is to kids... ahem... and some of us adults. Past Times is a two disc set, recorded live, which conveys the excitement, participation, and devotion of the audience. Candice Night's exquisite voice and Ritchie Blackmore's sensitive guitar weave a spell that will last a lifetime.  Blackmore, formerly of Deep Purple, melds rock, folk, world, and Renaissance music in his spirited and complex compositions. He writes that his primary influence is German, and he and Night play many instruments of a far-gone era such as the shawm, cornamuse, rauschpfiefe, hurdy-gurdy, and mandolin. Their music speaks of moonlight, harvest, magic spells.  Night's enchanting voice is like a gypsy singing from her caravanserie. The music is fiery, dreamy, and hot!
