WHO'D A THUNK IT?
AQUARIUS - 8 YRS. OLD

Take me home!

More articles!

We premiered in June 1993. Just a short eight years ago, and I'm happy, happy, happy. There's a reason behind this elated madness, and I'll share it with you. When Aquarius was started, there wasn't a lot of working capitol, so every little bit of growth has been triumphant. I had two silent partners, but none of us knew a thing about publishing, so we didn't know that it takes a lot of money to do the job right. We only had a fraction of that amount, so you can imagine (for me) each Birthday is a celebration of true grit.

I live in a state of gratitude and enthusiasm, and I'm certain of my Mission (read our Mission statement on the content page).

Eight years can seem like a long time, but in my mind, we have just begun. I love the science of numbers, and numerology speaks to me, and defines my truth. The eighth year represents a time for business, money and opportunity. This means the energies are present, ripe and fertile for expansion and learning something new. It's happening and I'm so excited about the potential of making some money. Oh come on, it's not a mortal sin to want more, and work hard for it, but it is a sin to steal something you haven't earned. Seriously, I'm basking in the flow of creative ideas that keeps me busy and expectant of changes that I know will have positive results for the entire community.

Working for the community is tough sometimes. You're so anxious to please and do the right thing - so troubled about choosing the right content so excited to show the next masterpiece of cover art so concerned about not letting people down But! there's a great lesson here, and once you process and understand this, it makes your life alot easier. (Not everybody likes you and you can't please all the people all of the time). It's a cruel reality, but TRUE.

Taking care of business everyday.

The backbone of every business is YOUR STAFF. From the beginning, God sent in the perfect people to do the job and I'd like to thank them all for their contribution and energy. Allow me now to introduce the hard working, efficient people that produce the Aquarius each month. Phyllis Yasner, our Office Manager, keeps us orderly and efficient and runs the office like a fine Swiss clock with a happy face on it. Kathryn Sargent, our Editor, has taken the bull by the horns and conquered the perfect balance in editorial content that keeps you waiting anxiously for each new issue. Bert Genovese, our Graphic Artist, lays out and designs the entire paper. Bert is an artist with many interests, and he loves being a band member with the group called ADOM. Dorothy Pfaff aka (Donna) has been with Aquarius the longest and I'm always amazed at what she knows, and her easy, humble ways. She has the final say about alot around here, and every page has her touch of excellence with the decor of original illustrations that only she can do. Her talents are too vast to mention, but her newest is the role and title as the Aquarius Web-Queen. My thanks to all you fine people.

Last but not least is our newest member, Greg Kuschwara, who has taken on the enormous job of distribution. Over 1,000 locations get delivery each month. For a partial list of locations, look on page 31. Thanks Greg, I really needed your help.

(Co-op)eration is Key-word.

It's important to know where you came from and where you're going. That's not always clear, (I know). But! what's always very clear is We Are Not An Island And Cannot Stand Alone. CO-OP is the Keyword for the 21st century; and alot of partnerships will become prevalent.

In our very NEAR future.

Watch for our new Ad campaign on T.V. We will be (Co-ops) with our advertisers for the purposes of exposing us to a larger audience. It's amazing how awareness of (this stuff) sneaks up and bites us on the butt. But! If you wanted to find it, you wouldn't know how to seek it out. Spiritual principles live inside us all, and those students who will see our commercials, will know the teacher has arrived. Rates are now available by calling me at Aquarius.

Getting Better All The Time

Dorothy (Donna) has done a terrific job with our web-site, even with her hands tied behind her back. What I mean is the software used for publications to use, and that makes the job manageable, has not been easily available. The bottom-line is we're up, lookin' good, and getting better every day. Read us on-line at www.aquarius-atlanta.com. Our preferred link page is new and our advertisers are only a click away. Rates to hyperlink from us to your site are now available.

A special thanks to the entrepreneurs that create the businesses that support this whole adventure. It's a pretty simple fact that without our advertisers we wouldn't exist at all, and we thank you for your trust. And what about our friends, and loyal readers? Without you there wouldn't be a need at all, and we hope you support our advertisers so we can always exist and be needed. One big happy family, Love & Blessings,

Bye Honeys,
