The brilliance of color and the majesty of Spirit come together to create the world of Aura-Soma®. Being defined as "the light made manifest in living energies," at the very heart of Aura-Soma® you will find 106 jewel-like Equilibrium bottles that began with Vicky Wall. Born in London, the seventh child of a seventh child, the vision and inspiration of Aura-Soma® was bestowed upon Vicky in 1984 with a series of meditative visions where she was repeatedly told to “divide the waters.” Vicky, a surgical chiropodist, pharmacist and herbalist, at 66 years of age and clinically blind, found herself in a meditative state late one night where “other hands guided” her own as she created the first five bottles.

This was the birth of Aura-Soma®.
Healing with color is a modality that dates back at least 5,000 years. The Ancient Egyptians and Greeks used colored minerals, crystals and stones to make dyes for creams and salves as remedies, and painted the walls of treatment rooms with healing colors. Other cultures known to have used the healing properties of color include China, India, and Tibet. A unique blend of these ancient cultures and their traditions can be found within the color codes of Aura-Soma®. They include Numerology, Tarot, Astrology, I Ching, Yoga, Buddhism, Christianity, Ayurveda, and the Kabbalah, adding layer upon layer for personal discovery.

Today, with this ancient information being revisited, Aura-Soma® is in more than 50 countries around the world with over 200 trained practitioners and teachers in the United States. What distinguishes it from other color healing systems, is the fact that Aura-Soma® is living color. It is a non-intrusive, self-selective color system that heals on a soul level bringing you closer to understanding yourself.

Each Equilibrium bottle contains an upper and lower fraction, oil resting upon water. Within each of these two fractions are the living energies of organic essential oils and herbal extracts from the plant kingdom, as well as the living energies of crystals and gems from the mineral kingdom. The visual and non-visual energy of natural color is the key to linking all of these elements together into one harmonic vibration.

When shaken, the two layers within each bottle blend together and create a temporary emulsion that is responsive to the specific needs of the individual. When the contents are applied to the body and the sympathetic resonant waveforms penetrate the semi-permeable membrane of the skin, the vibrations first go to the lymph system, then travel through the blood to the organs of the body thus stimulating the endocrine system. Then the vibration travels to the chakras, which ultimately affects the layers of the aura.

Each color within the Aura-Soma® range represents a universe within itself full of gifts, challenges, and metaphors. The meaning of each color depends on the intensity of the hue, which fraction it resides in, and its position and relationship to the other colors within a selection. Not only can each of the Equilibrium bottles be identified by number and color, but also by name and theme such as the Rescues, Ascended Masters, and Archangels.

Your personal journey through Aura-Soma® begins as a private consultation with a trained practitioner. During the consultation process you are asked to select four Equilibrium bottles from which the practitioner guides you into the depths of your soul. Through the soul’s instinctive awareness of color, your selection will reveal its inner most request for healing as well as its greatest potential for balance and joy. As the practitioner interprets each color within your bottles and explains the message of healing and promise, a unique story is woven that is specific to the individual.

You will learn about your mission and purpose, see the challenges that are keeping you from reaching this highest potential, and discover how your soul sees the future unfolding as the challenges are healed. In addition to the chosen colors, there are missing colors, hidden colors, and patterns of colors, all waiting to be discovered.

After the consultation procedure, one of your four Equilibrium bottles is chosen and worked with daily. The contents of this bottle are applied directly to specific areas of the body twice a day to facilitate the healing of spiritual, emotional, and mental challenges so the gifts of the soul can be more fully realized. With Equilibrium in hand, the healing process begins to unfold allowing the soul to achieve balance. Then, without effort, your inner qualities flow to the surface. Over time and with each consecutive consultation, the process deepens and the healings become more profound.

Then quite unexpectedly your soul reveals its full expression in what is referred to as your “Soul Bottle.” This bottle most clearly represents the full expression of the mission for your soul in this lifetime. Now the journey of healing through color is able to go even deeper.
