Georgia Dogs Enjoy Ancient Greek Hydrotherapy

When I received a phone call to do a Feng Shui study in Atlanta for a home/business, little did I know that I was going to discover a complete structure dedicated to dogs' health!

By a glorious Sunday morning I arrived in this nice house and was greeted by Marna Stein. This pretty young woman with smart bright eyes and gentle manners gives you the instant feeling that you can count on her.

She started to explain to me the different hydrotherapy treatments for dogs in warm water. Located behind the house was a large swimming pool three feet deep and filled with warm water. This water is treated with ozone (advantageously replacing the harmful chlorine) and a powerful filtration system, keeping the water crystal clear.

When I lived in Europe, I used to have horses and I was familiar with thalassotherapy and hydrotherapy for horses. Both words derive from the Greek, “Thalasso” for ocean and “hydro” for water.

The results of these therapies are quite amazing!

Already successfully practiced on the West coast, hydrotherapy for dogs has now reached Atlanta. Thank you, Marna!
