I can’t help it; I love numbers…and I’m totally aware this year (for all of us it’s a money year). We are in an eight-year (2006), and that has to do with things associated with money issues, not necessarily money in your pocket, but that is definitely possible as well. The eight-year will bring more business opportunity and open doors for us to stabilize our lives. I guess you could say in general everyone will have more activity around money. I have several people around me that were offered new jobs or advanced in the jobs they’re already doing.

But, I’m wondering if the Universal help we’re all getting isn’t camouflaging the real issues that face us concerning our futures. Oil prices alone have taken a chunk of our paychecks and I keep listening but don’t hear the outrage. More jobs moving abroad and our government spending money like a drunken sailor that hasn’t seen land in years is sending the wrong message to us all.

The interest rates are rising and the stock market is like a yo-yo – appearing to be strong but if you follow it, it’s very unstable.

Is everything O.K.? I personally don’t know one thing that is stable. Is it so bad that we just want to ignore the collision that could be right around the corner? Or, maybe I’m missing the boat and things just are what they are and nothing crazy is going on. Right! And, what about the weather? Every year we hear this has never happened before. But did you know already this year we had four times as many fires and loss of property than we had this time last year. Las Vegas has reached temps of 114 °F. That’s alarming.

I’m still concerned about the bird flu even though you don’t hear much about it. I think the thing I find most interesting is I’m the optimist beyond all else. I believe in God and all that’s good! As our designer, Christopher, always says, “It’s all good.” But I’m a survivor and my instincts say we should not put our heads in the sand, come up to look around and then if it’s not “all good,” take another nose dive and just keep resurfacing until it’s all clear. We should be present and be ready for the unexpected! I have no reason to feel vulnerable, but my state of mind makes me want to put the wagons in a circle and be ready for the battle. If it doesn’t happen, at least you weren’t blind-sided.

I think because I pay attention to news and what’s going on in the world, it has made me aware of how much fear is being spread through the States and I could be picking up on that fear. What ever it is, I’ve never been more sure that we must prepare our homes by stashing water, canned foods, candles, flashlights, a good radio and lots of batteries. I’d also recommend hiding some cash. Peace of mind is the most valuable resource we have.

Now, let’s get back to the money. Only six more months left to enjoy the Universal help and take advantage of it. This is the year to make a career change or start your own business. If you’re thinking it, just do it! Think of it this way: if you believe there are other dimensions, just raise your arm and touch what could be one of those dimensions. Now imagine wiggling your fingertips and touch one of your guides or angels that help you here on this dimension (that we call Earth). They could literally be that close and waiting for you to ask them for guidance. They are assigned to you (if you will) to be the little voice that directs your life, and at those crossroads on your path they nudge you in the right direction. Now think of a Universal energy that gives us a thought pattern, like a number system, or another good one is your astrological birth information. Of course, there are many divinations that help mold our lives, but we live in a nine-year cycle where the numbers are concerned and each year we get help that pushes us to deal with experiences of that particular number and the meaning that number represents.

Nothing from a Universal standpoint is ever controlling. Energy is always in motion and is the greatest phenomenon that us earthlings can “almost” comprehend and wrap our minds around. We will always be in awe of the vastness and consciousness of the Universe, and it’s always exciting.

So, work with your guides and angels and think about what you want to do! I have a friend that recently took a good job with Corporate America and after two months, he quit. It wasn’t for him, and the package (health benefits, regular hours, vacation) and a steady paycheck didn’t make sense. You can’t wake-up with cubical anxiety and live for the weekends and think this is life. Check with your own guts, if change is apparent….Just do it! The time for the support is now.

I know happiness is an inside job, but your outside influences can wear you down. Listen closely and watch for your next endeavor, and happy living.
