Spirit Release and Home Healing

Have you ever had an uneasy feeling within a room, as though some unseen force was there? Have you ever sensed the presence of spirits or ghosts or felt you were not alone? Most of us have had these experiences at some stage in our lives and when this occurs within our homes we can often feel very troubled, even frightened. These events are not uncommon; fortunately there are a number of steps that can be taken to resolve these problems when they occur.

To understand why this happens we first need to appreciate that all human activity leaves its imprint within the space where the activity has occurred. It is particularly noticeable when strong emotions are involved. For example, a murder scene will hold a very disturbed energy matrix with often the spirit of the victim reenacting their tragic demise. On the other hand, places of worship such as churches can create very beneficial and enhancing energies. These subtle energy fields continue to exist for hundreds or even thousands of years after they are created unless deliberately cleansed, changed or rebalanced.

When we enter such places, they will always affect us to a greater or lesser degree. This is why houses where marriage break-ups have occurred will potentially propel new couples along the same road to separation. One pattern reinforces the other and continues to build upon itself. Clearing and resetting the energies of spaces, including releasing earthbound or trapped souls, is a fascinating process that generally is not too difficult to rectify yet also has many layers of complexity.

The complexity lies in the wide variety of potential imbalances ranging from geopathic stress, ley lines, emotional patterned energies, trapped souls, underground streams and so on, all of which create an effect and need to be considered. Added to this there is the emotional state of the individual being affected. What triggered their awareness of a disturbed energy within their house or place of work, in the first place, and how has this influenced them?

The simplicity lies in the methods that can be used for correcting these imbalances, which can be summarized as a powerful directed prayer or focused thought intent. In other words invoking a harmonizing, balancing energy which might be visualized as a symbol such as a “Celtic cross” and then directing it to the space to clear and resolve the problem. Trapped souls will need to be released but here again, with the correct procedure, the process is relatively simple and generally souls will move on to the next plane and into the light without too much trouble. A recent case illustrates these points.

I was contacted by an individual who had started to become affected by a spirit presence shortly after moving into a new residence. As well as sensing the presence of a spirit, my client was experiencing sensations of sudden coldness and pressure and being touched on different parts of his body, all of which, as you might imagine, was quite disturbing.

The situation with the house, which dated to the 1800’s, was easily resolved. The earthbound spirit of a Victorian woman was causing the psychic disturbance and when this soul was released into the light no more problems were reported. The subtle energy of the property was also cleansed and reset.

What emerged for the individual was, however, a little more complex. His experience with this spirit entity had awakened his own psychic abilities and it was this expansion of his sensitivity that was causing him the most difficulty. When such an opening occurs, many other factors are brought to the surface. Primarily it is a question of helping the individual to integrate and understand what is happening to them and removing as much fear as possible. There is actually nothing to be frightened of. This does not normally happen overnight but is a process of assimilation and understanding. And so it was with the individual who has since become a Reiki practitioner.

In summary, all properties periodically need to be spiritually or psychically cleared. Filling your home with laughter, joy and prayer will normally counter balance any disharmonious energy patterns. When disturbances manifest within a home, either as health issues or emotional problems, then the cause might stem from some imbalance from the past. Homes, like people, need help and healing from time to time. Calling in a home healer and having your house blessed and cleansed could be an important first step to a greatly improved life.
