July begins with the moon in Virgo and the sun in Cancer on a Saturday. The perfect way to begin your month is to get all the errands done so the rest of your weekend is free to play. It’s a pleasure to be with friends and family enjoying good food.
Mercury goes retrograde on the 4th, the first part of the retrograde is in Leo so rethink what play and fun mean to you. Individuals born in the years 1939, 1940, 1984, or 1985 will be thinking deeply about the direction of their life and what appropriate changes need to take place.

Mars is opposing Neptune on the 5th. Pay attention driving; you may be a bit in a fog and not see the other guy coming at you. Thursday, July 6th Jupiter goes direct in Scorpio; this is the most powerful time of Jupiter. If there has been a big dream you have been cherishing, act on it.

The energy is also terrific to meet new friends that can be fun and interesting. The full moon is on the 10th and the key word is harmony; how can you maintain all parts of your life in harmony and balance without stress or upset? How do you keep relationships as supportive, work that is fulfilling, your home environment to your liking, and your own time for spiritual and personal development? The day of the full moon, Mercury slips back into Cancer; rethink your home and your family connections.

Friday the 14th, the moon is in Pisces and Venus is opposite Pluto – a cosmic recipe for romance. Mark your calendar on the 18th; Venus moves into Cancer, asking us to bring more nurturing and caring into our relationships, and the Sun is conjunct Mercury, an excellent time to connect with the universe to receive information from the ethers. If you have been trying to connect with spirit guides, develop your mediumship, or are missing a piece of information for an invention, this is the day to tune in and receive that info.

Saturday the 22nd the Sun moves into Leo. It’s time to play and have fun but Mars moves into Virgo, so your playtime needs to be productive. A hobby that has a side benefit is perfect – a fun way to exercise, for example. On the new moon in Leo (the 25th), take time to meditate on what you want to cultivate over the next year in regards to your creativity. Do you want to learn to dance? Play an instrument? Write a book? Take one action that tells the universe you are ready to begin and the support will follow.

Aries (March 21 - Apr. 19)
There is an amazing amount of Cancer energy rumbling around in your fourth house; be prepared for changes in your home. You may find that it’s time to move, whether you were planning it or not, or that change in your household happens. A member of your family may come to visit and decide to stay for a while. Concerns may pop up over you being able to do what you want. Just communicate exactly what your lifestyle is about so as not to feel stifled. It’s time to live your life the way you want. If you don’t take a risk now and go after your dream, when will you?


Taurus (Apr. 20 - May 20)
Keep the lines of communication open with friends and co-workers. A misunderstanding may create conflict that could cost you. Jupiter is in a very strong placement at the beginning of the month opposite your sign; it’s a good time for you to travel. Don’t wait for something to come to you; it’s time to go after what you want and make it happen. Friends from high school or college days can play an important role in your life this month; listen to constructive criticism. You may be blinded to where you are hurting yourself simply because you are so used to the old and comfortable patterns that they seem natural.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
So many options and only so much money; what are the twins to do? There are many opportunities this month to do a variety of things. The whole month can be loaded with the question of which choice to make. It appears that some of the choices will be dictated by the cash flow, so now is a good time to set up different accounts for special occasions. Tuck some cash away in a special account for unexpected opportunities for travel and for educational seminars. Any mishap in communication can be straightened out on or after the 20th and 21st. This is a good month to recommit to a health regimen you have been thinking about.


Cancer (June 21 - Jul. 22)
Happy birthday! How do you like being related to the crab? All tough on the outside and soft on the inside. Well, it seems that this month your softness and emotions may peep out more than usual. Situations arise with your family that create a stir. You may want to reach out to some members of your clan while distancing yourself from anyone that you feel is not good for you. Venus enters your sign on the 18th -- ah, a month of being able to get a little more help and cooperation; if not from others you can just splurge on something you want, need, or deserve. Good shopping days for you are the 22nd and 23rd. Your mind will feel clearer in your desires and aspirations for your birthday year when Mercury goes direct on the 28th.

Leo (Jul. 23 - Aug. 22)
Can you say beach? If at all possible, I would recommend just taking the month off and going to the beach. It’s the time of the year for you to rethink what you have accomplished, what you are still dreaming of, and to release and let go off anything in your life that is no longer supportive for you. The energy around you is asking you to rethink your life, your career, your relationships, your spiritual path, and your purpose. Those are big questions and the concerns of day to day living can cloud the answers. Being able to retreat and go within is your calling this month. When the Sun enters your sign on the 22nd you may be more inclined to take action.


Virgo (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22)
Have your friends and family over for fun and laughter; life isn’t always about work, although it may seem like that at times. However, you may find yourself working at having fun. Make life a little more simple – you don’t have to do it all alone. If there are groups or organizations that you are drawn to, this is a good month to connect with them. The full moon energy can bring you a romantic surprise; you may find yourself being casually introduced to someone through a mutual friend and the sparks fly. When Mars enters your sign on the 22nd you can find yourself feeling the desire to finally clear out projects that you haven’t gotten around to.


Libra (Sept. 23 - Oct. 22)
July is supposed to be a time of leisure and fun, however you may find yourself working hard – even if you are on vacation – trying to make this person happy, trying to get that person to unwind. Take a break and just let everyone around you have their little temper tantrum and stay centered and at peace. If you aren’t satisfied with your career then you may begin to seriously rethink what else you would enjoy. It’s time to get information; the time to change is in a few months. There are new starts around friendships. You may meet a potential partner from an after-work rendezvous. When Mars moves into Virgo on the 22nd weed out the subconscious programming that sabotages your efforts. Consider buying a tape series that trains you to overcome self-sabotage and reprograms your mind for more peace and prosperity.


Scorpio (October 23 - November 22)
July is your month to rule. Look for opportunities, stay open to possibilities, realign yourself with your intention and then go for it. The universe will provide you with the support you need to further your higher self and highest purpose. An opportunity to travel that can turn into an educational experience is probable. A long held belief or pattern can now be broken. What negative old thoughts do you have clanging around your mind? It’s time to send them packing and replace them with positive supportive beliefs. Release negative attitudes you may be holding towards situations that are frustrating or difficult and watch the problem take care of itself.



Sagittarius (Nov. 22 - Dec. 21)
Opportunities for intense passionate relationships arise this month. Look before you leap; they may end up more possessive or controlling than you had anticipated. There may be a secret unbeknownst to you that when revealed will change your desire to stay with your new lover. Truth and integrity are needed for you to feel safe. Pay attention to your use of credit and your bank balance. You may be in such a hurry to have fun you neglect to write down those ATM withdrawals. New dreams and horizons open up for you after the 22nd; don’t allow a few obstacles to thwart you from your destiny.


Capricorn (Dec. 22 - Jan. 19)
Friends that have been estranged can suddenly reappear in your life. It’s a good time to put the effort into developing positive, uplifting friendships. The importance of other people and teamwork is vital this month. Don’t try to do it all alone. Aquarius (Jan. 20 - Feb. 18)

It’s good to rethink the direction of your romantic life. If you feel it needs rebalancing, the last weekend of the month is a good time to have a heart to heart talk. If you are single, the weekend of the full moon is a great time to meet a potential partner through an outing with friends.
