Medium John Holland
John
Holland wrote his first book, Born Knowing, as a response
to all the people who constantly asked him: “when did you know
you were psychic,” “what was it like growing up this way,”
and “where do
we go when we die?”
From earliest childhood, John knew he was different from other children.
He read metaphysical books, intended for adults, at the age of seven.
Because he grew up in an alcoholic home, circumstances may have contributed
to his becoming a psychic: the dysfunctional homelife meant he needed
to know what would happen ahead of time. In the spirit of the Wounded
Healer, his painful childhood prepared him to be the empathetic counselor
he would become as an adult. And unlike some people who have experienced
turbulent childhoods, he learned to leave the past behind him and
make each new day the best he could make it.
He knew, years in advance, that he would one day write a book with
the title “Born Knowing.” The book recounts his lifetime
experiences as a psychic, including an accident and a brush with death
that seemed to reawaken his psychic abilities as an adult. John says
he'd run away from his abilities for years, but the accident served
as a “wake-up call” that put him back on his spiritual path.
John sought mediumistic training, determined to do this professionally
and to do it well. He studied in the UK, with “some of the most
renowned practicing mediums in England for over two years.”
