Carl: How did you develop the Tantra Tai Chi movements?

Richard: We had been doing an easy-to-learn Tai Chi form called Tai Chi Chih for a number of years. We often did the moves facing each other and found that it sparked a beautiful and intimate feeling between us. We decided to become certified instructors in Tai Chi Chih and to teach it as a centering practice in our couples groups. As our knowledge of Tantra and sexual energy expanded we began to formulate our own Tai Chi/Qigong moves and eventually formalized them into what is now called Tantra Tai Chi.

Carl: Is there more to Tantra Tai Chi than is on the video?

Diana: Oh, much more! The video shows some of the basic movements. At the workshops, we help you translate the training into an intimate and ongoing connection with your beloved partner. It's much more than just an exercise (or “sexercise!”). It's a meditation; it's lovemaking; it's being centered and present in your heart; it's about opening all the chakras!

Richard: Of all the practices that teach the awareness and movement of sexual energy, we are not aware of any that are so simple to learn and quick to experience as Tantra Tai Chi. The movements allow a couple to experience intimacy on an energy basis very quickly. It is a marvelous tool for initiating sex play and also a great tool for creating harmony in a relationship.

Carl: Briefly, what will be the focus of your Dahlonega workshop?

Richard: As in all of our workshops, our intention will be to enliven and enhance the intimacy and joy of each couple's relationship. The Dahlonega retreat will emphasize romance and sensuality due to the beautiful mountain setting and the spacious cabins with private hot tubs and decks. Participants will renew and rejuvenate their relationships as they gain new insights into the mystery and art of mutual love, sexuality, authentic touch and communication, and, of course, Tantra.

Diana: Each couple returns to their private room for specific sexual practices - that's always a favorite part of the weekend!
