REAL ESTATE GOES DUMB
Does
anyone shop at CVS or Walgreen's drug stores?
How
many of these stores do we need in a ten-mile
radius? I live in Roswell and it makes me
mad and crazy that within ten miles of my
house in Mountain Park, there are five huge
drug stores.
 Just
recently two fabulous sites/locations were
claimed and signs erected that announced
another CVS and the other said Walgreen's
coming soon. Yuck! I
had wished and envisioned a wonderful new
Alternative Health Care Center that would
offer non-invasive modalities with a brass,
vivid claim that modern medicine just doesn't
work anymore. The mission statement could
read: We invite “YOU” (The mainstream
consumer) to get your head out of the sand
and learn about “YOU” as the healer.
Learn about “YOU” as the open-minded
consumer that can think for yourself, trust
yourself first, and stop being totally dependent
on what your doctor says.
Isn't
it possible the men/women doctors we hold
so high don't have a high IQ? Isn't
it possible they just made the grade, and
they're not the geniuses we thought?
I had a doctor once that I loved. He would
say I'm not God, I'm only a doctor.
He didn't pretend to know it all and
was always open to anything that worked,
even if he didn't think of it first.
I'm
sounding off because I'm frustrated
that more doctors (MD's) are not taking
a serious interest in alternative/preventive
medicine. Some of my friends that I see
counting on their doctors are not getting
healed; instead they are getting a “FIX”.
Their fix is usually another operation or
another antibiotic. (So that's why we
need another Walgreen's or CVS drug
store!) Sometimes I'm sooooooo slow!
