Predictions 2004

1. Howard Dean will win the presidential election by five electoral votes.

2. The Stock Market will still have a slow recovery. The DJIA will flirt with 11000 by August.

3. The Mississippi will flood this year starting in April.

4. The job recovery will begin in earnest February. The unemployment rate will slowly shrink to 5.4% by June 2004.

5. Ben Affleck and J. Lo will not marry after trying again secretly in June.

6. Tony Blair will withstand a challenge to his party leadership after his administration is rocked by financial scandals linked to the Iraq war.

7. The next Pope will be a moderate from France.

9. The mutual fund scandals are not done yet.

10. The rising consumer and government debt loads will trigger a gradual rise in the inflation rate.

11. There will not be a global SARS outbreak this year.

12. The Colts and Rams will play in the Super Bowl. The Colts will win the Super Bowl.

13. The Cubs and Red Sox will play in the World Series. The Red Sox will win.

14. Astronomers will discover an asteroid entering our system in August.

15. Two major hurricanes will come to shore this year. One will strike the southern tip of Florida. The 2nd will strike the tip of North Carolina.

16. The Christ consciousness is expanding, opening the gates of Eden. During these times of trial remember that every man, woman, child and senior is also a Christed being. As we work with people, know that we are all one.
