Global
Astrological Aspects
By

January contains action-oriented energy repeated through the interactions
of Mercury and Mars with Moon and Sun. It's likely the Gulf
War will continue through the first quarter. In April and May
a settlement to the war appears feasible as the aspects of Venus
with Pluto give us a window for accord and appeasement. Throughout
the summer, though, difficulties in sustaining peace reoccur.
It is not a time to force our wills. Doing so would cause us to
become our own worst enemies. This year calls for a sacrifice
of the American ego for the sake of fairness. We should not let
passion cloud the vision we have for peace. When it comes down
to it we really don't have a malicious bone in our collective
body. If we could muster the detachment needed, we have the aspects
that point to the consciousness of an impersonal servant of humanity.
This is our potential and a big step forward for us.
Late summer our attention is focused on efforts to ferret out
the remaining Al Queda cells, which are still very dangerous.
There's the possibility for a devastating terrorist incident
in northern Africa, in Nigeria perhaps. Persistent global intelligence
is effective for the most part this year and cells are weakened.
By the end of 2005 confidence is restored at home and abroad.
Al Queda will probably continue its war through the decade with
a declining number of threats and fewer acts of terrorism actually
carried out.
In 2004 we will see a rebound begin in the travel industry and
new opportunities for discount travel both on and off the tourist
grid. More and more shareholders of publicly held corporations
will demand the reduction of elaborate compensation packages offered
top executives. In some cases overpaid corporation chiefs will
volunteer to reduce their benefits. Near June or when the second
quarter earnings are reported marks the beginning of a turning
point in the economy, felt most dramatically at the stock exchange.
Sadly there will be no solutions offered at the national level
for the problems of homelessness and extreme poverty witnessed
across this wealthy country. When a larger population interprets
the łgreater good˛ to mean the highest good for all instead of
the majority of tax payers, we will see this disproportionate
spread of dollars begin to reverse itself.
The U. S. Justice System will begin a thorough internal review
and assessment in preparation for change. Victim consciousness
has passed its zenith and recedes ever so slightly. A new perspective
is underway. The seeds for far reaching change are being planted
in fertile soil this year. But reversals in unwise and unfair
methods of applying justice within the legal system will not be
fulfilled until after 2004. Don't look for perfection in this
system yet, but the new applications are a tremendous step forward
and a bold step in maintaining and applying the laws universally.
Not only is this better for the U.S. but also as a model for other
countries and other cultures. Justice for All has been an empty
phrase. This year we begin the design for a new Lady of Liberty.
In November President George W. Bush will be re-elected, although
this may seem doubtful off and on throughout the year. He will
serve a second term but he faces a critical health issue requiring
hospitalization about the time of the election.
By year's end watch for an organized effort on the part of the
public to call for the establishment of a new department within
the federal government. This branch would serve to keep our public
servants true to their words and deeds. It's a fact finding
and truth-seeking department made up of individuals not affiliated
with any political party and elected for terms much longer than
what is currently established. The best example of a first attempt
was the independent counsel, attorney Kenneth Starr, in the White
Water case against President Clinton. Starr, however, found little
cooperation from government employees due to his status as a non-government
agency. Expect to witness a lot of debunking and delaying of this
attempt from partisans currently serving. Ultimately, it will
find a home within our government and be an impressive addition
to the U. S. Constitution.
Global astrological aspects point to the importance of dream symbolism
this year. Significant messages and more fluid connections to
Spirit through dreams can be experienced by everyone. You may
notice too, the blossoming of a fresh childlike heart within you.
Creative talents applied to benefit children are available to
all and reach new levels. A strong personal will only serves to
mask higher wisdom and advice from guides and angels. You are
so deeply loved by all those of the Spirit. They invite you to
listen; they speak through your own heart. And they want to tell
you often just how much they love you. (The information provided
was channeled from my angels and spirit guides on Dec 8, 2003.)
