Evolution:
the Indigo and Crystal Children

Has the human race actually catapulted forward into a new species?
According to Michael Gurian, researcher and author, the answer
is a definitive “yes.” In his latest book, The
Soul of the Child, he even gives our recently evolved
species a name, Homo infiniens, a new possibility.
Within his splendid work, Michael Gurian links ancient religious
teachings with intricate scientific experiments and modern philosophy
to prove the existence of the soul, which he tracks from birth
to physical departure. Tackling such intense material, Mr. Gurian
is gifted with the art of simplifying highly technical and complicated
notions into easy to comprehend language. His emphasis on relating
to our children as souls temporarily in our care is echoed throughout
his writing and he is adamant about how important the role of
the nurturing parent is.
Although he never specifically mentions Indigo or Crystal Children,
The Soul of the Child depicts the essence of the new children
born over the last several decades. As described by Lee Carroll
and Jan Tober, co-authors of the bestselling The Indigo
Children, The New Kids Have Arrived and their latest co-creation,
An Indigo Celebration, “... an Indigo Child
is one who displays a new and unusual set of psychological attributes
and shows a pattern of behavior generally undocumented before.”
Indigo Children were first born in the mid to late 1970's with
a major mission to accomplish once they reach adulthood. These
highly evolved children have a sense of purpose and knowing that
is unprecedented in any other generation. As many refuse to participate
in what they view as senseless and archaic institutions, it is
a challenge for both parents and schools to provide a stimulating
education for these amazingly gifted children. Unfortunately,
in many instances the solution is seen in the ADD/ADHD diagnosis
with the resulting use of Ritalin to “control” the perceived
behavioral problems.
Inherent in the Indigo child is a true warrior spirit supported
by unwavering determination, which is essential to their life's
purpose. When lovingly nurtured, these children develop an uncompromising
sense of divine truth. As they reach maturity and take their positions
in society, the Children will begin a major transformation of
the institutions, governments and other organizations that fail
to abide by divine truth. Their warrior spirit and inner fire
will be the fuel to accomplish this necessary and extraordinary
life purpose.
Unfortunately, many of the Indigo Children have not been lovingly
nurtured and have been forced to take drugs to “cure”
them of their inherent gifts. When mistreated, their warrior spirit
rebels and the child often commits unbelievable acts of violence
and self-destruction. The recent onslaught of teenage suicide
and school violence are examples of misunderstood Indigos acting
out anger at their abuse.
In her recent book, The Care and Feeding of Indigo Children,
Doreen Virtue, Ph.D. gives solid practical solutions to nurturing
and loving these wonderful children, without the artificial use
of drugs. As these children are highly developed with an acute
sense of truth, Ms. Virtue stresses the importance of learning
to speak to the children honestly at all times, (which makes for
an interesting situation when it comes to Santa Claus and the
Tooth Fairy!).
These children vibrate at a higher rate than previous generations
and their bodies are much more sensitive to the types of food
consumed. Ms. Virtue gives easy to follow suggestions to adjust
the family lifestyle to best nurture the Indigo child. With their
psychic sensitivity, these children often are fearful to fall
asleep due to nightly visitors from other dimensions, many from
a lower vibration. Again, many simple and practical solutions
are given to enhance the child's sleep patterns.
During the mid 1990's, the next wave of evolved beings, the
Crystal Children, have begun their earthly journeys. As the Indigo
Children resonate with the third eye chakra and, thus, the color
indigo, the crystal children resonate with the crown chakra and
their multi-faceted, opalescent auras resemble the pastel colors
of a quartz prism. In her latest book, The Crystal Children,
Ms. Virtue gives a broad overview of the Crystal Child's characteristics
and purpose.
Similar to the Indigo Children, the Crystal Children are highly
evolved individuals and much of the child rearing advice given
in The Care and Feeding of Indigo Children also
pertains to the Crystal Child. However, these Children do not
have the pronounced warrior spirit and angry edge. They seem to
radiate their divine beauty from the inside out and are blessed
with amazing healing abilities, which they openly share. The Crystal
Child's purpose is to usher in a truthful way of living once
the transformations brought about by the Indigo Children are complete.
What an exciting time to be living on this earth! With the arrival
of both the Indigo and Crystal Children we are assured to witness
some amazing revelations over the next several decades.
