The New Year begins to unfold with Jupiter stationing retrograde
on the 3rd. Society, organizations, and individuals may realize
they have gone a little too far in their urge to expand and
grow. We'll all be evaluating the direction we are going.
Many will feel the New Year truly begins when Mercury stations
direct on the 6th. Communications return to normal and our
everyday activity begins flowing smoother. The full Moon in
Cancer on the 7th will illuminate our need to give and receive
emotional warmth and security. We get a double planetary energy
shift on the 14th. Mercury moves back into Capricorn so our
mindset again becomes more organized, practical, and efficient.
Venus floats into dreamy, imaginative, and compassionate Pisces
as we'll be seeking and desiring unconditional love. The
Sun moves into progressive, humanitarian, freedom loving Aquarius
on the 20th, enhancing our need to be innovative, original,
and to create social change. 2004 brings us into a Universal
year number 6. The human race will be attending to domestic
affairs, family obligations, nurturing and service to others.
This can be a year of great progress if, with constant effort
and positive attitude, we rise to meet new responsibilities
and challenges.
Capricorn (Dec. 22nd – Jan.
20th)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY my fellow disciplined, conscientious, and ambitious
mountain goats! This is your time to express your views but
you may not be clearly understood until after the 6th. Communications
with others will improve. Expect a partnership/relationship
issue highlighted on the 7th. Finances are favored this month.
Watch the spending - you'll be drawn to luxurious, more
expensive items. There could be great activity around the
home. Guard against the tendency to use those 'horns'
to force your ideas on other family members. You'll begin
re-examining your efforts to expand your consciousness. Look
deep within - you’re bound to discover great inner abundance!
Aquarius (Jan. 20th – Feb.
19th)
Normally you're very sociable, but this is your time of
year to go within and connect with your spiritual side. Meditation
will bring you increased awareness. Work and/or health issues
will receive illumination on the 7th - what needs to be modified?
Some of you will enhance your appearance this month, and may
do so in an unconventional and innovative style. Be careful
in your everyday environment as your energy increases and
you'll be on the go a lot. You'll want to express
yourself forcefully - confrontations could arise. You'll
begin a re-examination of your spiritual regeneration and
the mysteries of life and beyond. Metaphysical studies will
greatly assist you!
Pisces (Feb. 19th – Mar. 20th)
Group activities and friends are top priority on your list.
After the 6th, communications will improve and you'll
find it's easier to further your collective cause. The
7th brings awareness to a romance or perhaps inspiration to
a creative project. You'll be swimming in the waters of
fantasy and daydreaming this month. Wait to make romance decisions
until after the 14th. Anyone discovered a secret admirer?
Your values are important - don't shove them down other
peoples' throats this month. Set aside a couple of extra
dollars for sudden additional expenses. Make sure the car
is tuned up! You'll begin to re-examine your one-to-one
relationships. Have you been giving too much of yourself,
or not enough?
Aries (Mar. 20th – Apr. 19th)
Your career and/or public image are your focus. Communications
with superiors will be met more favorably after the 6th. You
may discover new studies or techniques that will forward your
career. The 7th brings illumination to issues on the home
front or in regard to some level of your security. Dealings
with financial organizations could take place. Group activities
are pleasant. A romance could bloom there or with someone
who had only been a friend. Your physical energy increases
- you have entered warrior mode this month. Make sure an innocent
bystander doesn't receive the 'fire' someone else
deserved. You'll begin to evaluate whether or not your
new health regimen or elevated level of service to others
is too expansive.
Taurus (Apr. 19th – May 20th)
Long distance travel would soothe your soul if you have the
opportunity. Travel plans are best made after the 6th. Exotic
places, breathtaking scenery, and foreign cultures will expand
your horizons and philosophies. Highly emotional words may
be exchanged on the 7th. Authority figures may reward you
some honor, monetary compensation, or kind words for a job
well done. A new career could unfold. Engage in some form
of physical exercise, as you could feel edgy and irritable
without knowing why. You may begin to realize that you've
become overly optimistic in regard to a romance, or you may
have taken too many risks in some area of speculation or gambling.
Gemini (May 20th – Jun. 20th)
The New Year finds you in a reflective mood. You'll be
analyzing situations deeply and feeling the urge for intensity
in many areas of your personal life. Partnership/relationship
communication issues will begin to clear after the 6th. Expect
enlightenment on the 7th in regard to your earning ability,
or whether or not your values are consistent with where you
are in life. You'll be drawn to beautiful and awe-inspiring
places this month. A loving involvement with a foreigner may
expand your horizons. Take a leading role in some group activity.
Your extra energy - channeled productively - helps you reach
your goals. You may begin to realize there has been too much
expansion on the home front, or your increased inner confidence
has blinded you in some way.
Cancer (Jun. 20th – Jul. 22nd)
Issues within partnerships/relationships MUST be addressed
this month. Communications become more effective after the
6th. You may change your mind about some idea at work. The
full Moon on the 7th may highlight some issue concerning yourself.
After the 14th, you may experience heightened intimacy in
love relationships. Relationships begun during this time will
be more intense and have a greater impact on you. If you're
looking for financial assistance, NOW is the time to apply.
You'll be thinking about making fast changes in your career.
Take charge of your life purpose, but do so wisely and rationally.
You begin to realize your everyday environment has expanded,
or relationships with relatives have significantly improved.
Leo (Jul. 22nd – Aug. 22nd)
Your New Year's resolution should obviously be concerning
health and work as this is your focus this time of year. Communications
with co-workers will improve after the 6th. Emotional and
spiritual issues will be illuminated on the 7th. Partnerships/relationships
are 'sweetened.' Negotiations with money and possessions
may take place after the 14th. Joint finances may yield rewards.
You'll be craving new experiences, travel and even education
on some level. You could meet a foreigner who stirs your deepest
passions! You may realize your financial picture is better
than before. However, some may find they have over-committed
themselves monetarily. You may find new values have replaced
older ones.
Virgo (Aug. 22nd – Sept. 22nd)
Hey you workaholics - time to release that tension and enjoy
romance, creativity and pleasure. Your inner child is ready
to come out and play. Communications in romance will improve
after the 6th. You'll gain awareness concerning group
activities or perhaps in regard to your dreams and goals on
the 7th. The atmosphere at work should be friendlier as others
are willing to listen to your ideas. The holidays are over,
but you'll need to resist the urge to continue to overdo
the food and drink. There could be disagreements over insurance,
inheritances, taxes or joint finances. Power struggles may
arise. Intense physical intimacy or warlike encounters may

begin to realize your outlook on life has widened.
Libra (Sept. 22nd – Oct. 22nd)
'Home for the Holidays' still appeals to you even
though it's a New Year. Buying or selling real estate
is best done after the 6th. There will be many conversations
around the home front - some rather nostalgic. Issues regarding
your career or public image are revealed on the 7th. A significant
relationship may heat up this month. A good month for fun
and entertainment. Creativity is enhanced - express your unique
self! There may be heated issues in partnerships/relationships.
Use your inborn ability to balance the facts to avoid major
conflicts. You may realize your spiritual and religious dimensions
have expanded, and metaphysical endeavors have produced significant
growth. Have some of you finally realized there's been

Scorpio (Oct. 22nd – Nov. 21st)
The hectic Holiday pace remains with you this month. Your
everyday environment demands a lot of your effort. Communications
there will untangle after the 6th. The Universe may enlighten
your higher beliefs and ideals on the 7th. Let your consciousness
expand. There could be renovations or remodeling on the home
front or monetary negotiations with family members. Early
spring- cleaning may entice you. Work activity increases.
Job duties may multiply. There could be confrontations with
co-workers. You might decide to aggressively pursue a new
diet or exercise program - moderation is the key. You begin
to realize your network of friends and associates has expanded
along with responsibilities within groups and organizations.
Sagittarius (Nov. 21st –
Dec. 21st)
You start each New Year off reviewing finances and looking
inward to see if your values truly reflect who you are. Money
making ideas produce results after the 6th. DO NOT sign contracts
until then. Your planetary ruler turns retrograde the 4th.
You begin introspection - has your urge to expand and grow
exceeded reasonable limits? You'll have until May 4th,
2004 to review and revise. Issues regarding joint finances,
taxes, inheritances or emotional intimacy are illuminated
on the 7th. Social life picks up. An excellent time to resolve
differences with friends, neighbors, or siblings. Passionate
romance may arise or you'll get fired up about some creative
