Seed that Opened after a Great Storm"
by Eliza Hafer. Eliza Hafer has been an artist for most of her life. She received a BA in art as well as anthropology and later pursued Jungian dreamwork and art therapy. Painting intuitively, she conjures up archetypal figures of mysterious power and strength. Eliza lives in Asheville, NC and has sold her paintings nationally in galleries and at art fairs. Eliza has a unique exhibit this month at the Phoenix and Dragon bookstore. “A Journey Below the Surface” is a mythic series of paintings and masks accompanied by a magical tale. Running Jan. 6-30, 2005, there is an artist reception on Sat. Jan. 8 7-8:30 pm.
