The
Winter Holds Glory

Deep within the cold ground of winter there are surprises.
Old, well-developed flower bulbs are gaining a new vitality.
They are actually beginning to push up small, pale green,
new life. And they are aiming toward the warm winter Sun that
shines at mid-day. By next month, they will literally break
out into full daylight and begin to show their spring glory.
And
so it is with us humans. Even in the cold winter's night,
we can nurture new life in our thoughts. This is our most
special month of planning. It is time to look to the future.
Take those cold nights and write out the thoughts of vitality
and creativity. Aim those little pearls of possibility toward
the mid-day Sun. As spring rolls around a few weeks from now,
you can pull the plans out and show their spring glory. As
you plan, remember that with recent major shifts in our planets
(namely, Uranus moving into Pisces), we are living in a time
when the possible looks boring and the impossible is possible.
The words of Eleanor Roosevelt help us to dream: “The

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)
Happy Birthday to the ever-ready inventor of our zodiac! Do
a serious review while the creative juices are flowing in
abundance for your birthday month. What changed in your world
during 2003? What struggles did you convert into wisdom? Where
did you dissolve the hard lines of determination? Did you
learn to color outside the box or are you still holding on
to outgrown, overgrown habits and blocks? Your champion ruler,
the planet Uranus is now in the sign of Pisces full time for
a seven-year period. More than ever, it is necessary for you
to go with the flow! Pay attention to your dreams at night!
The universe will certainly be instructing you through those
dreams. This is your most creative hour.
Pisces (Feb. 19 – Mar. 20)
Energy is now set up in your world to change things for the
better. You say the change doesn't seem for the better?
Well, that is forward sight talking. Hind sight will tell
you a different story. Later, you will see that what is now
being dissolved and changed is actually a subtle miracle.
So enjoy the present. February does ring out some love vibrations.
Hmmmm! Be ready for some exciting moves around the 21st of
February.
Aries (Mar. 21 – Apr. 19)
February may find you a little weary from all that Jumping-Jack-Flash
energy since the start of the year. There is relief now, you
know, like someone lets the air out of your balloon. So plan
to stay on target with all the new plans you have set into
action. Just remember, your force and direction is almost
startling for those around you. Tread softly, and put down
your big stick! You'll reach all your goals just as you always
do. The latter part of the month brings irresistible sweetness.
Try fitting yourself into the mold.
Taurus (Apr. 20 – May 20)
The planets are kind to you during this pre-spring period.
There is much opportunity in the career area of your life.
In order to claim these benefits, try letting go of some outdated
ways of operating. You may be thinking, “I can do anything
I want to now.” Those thoughts would be true. The important
thing to remember is not to run rough shod over others in
the process. Any repressed anger may surface now. Don't
project it on to others. You own it and are responsible for
changing it.
Gemini (May 21 – Jun. 20)
You are now entering a period of great stimulus and what we
might call excitement. The old adage, “the higher the
reach, the greater the grasp,” certainly applies now.
Education seems to be calling your name. Perhaps signing
up for a stimulating class or some group activity is just
what the old proverbial professor orders. Who knows, you may
even meet someone of international description that could
change your whole way to thinking or living.
Cancer
(Jun. 21 – Jul. 22)
Your social life is soaring in this traditional Valentine's
month. However, social in this case means lovers, friends
and family. You will travel to see others or others will travel
to see you. This month is a perfect time to express how you
feel for others. Some people never express what or how they
feel. Your ability to say what you feel and feel what you
say is elevated now. Try to face your fears and your fears
will surely melt away.
Leo (Jul. 23 – Aug. 22)
Everyone else's urgency seems to interfere with you just
cutting loose and doing exactly what you want to do. It is
most important that you don't sit on any kind of anger.
Don't project it out to others, either. Instead use the
additional thrust of energy that is present to achieve an
important project. And above all, get out and do something
physical, such as walking, running or biking. Competitive
sports are an excellent way to burn some of the adrenaline.
Love issues will be intense. Give them time; they will have
a way of working themselves out.
Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)
The latter part of the month may bring changes in finance.
You can get a jump on things by doing an inspection and review
of what is at hand. This is an excellent time to contact people
in high places for future benefit. Get out and meet with those
who can make a difference. Of course, being sincere
in the social side of it is also important. The pounds you
have been adding to the ol' bod are in serious need of
some attention. Get those calories in order before it is too
difficult to do so.
Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)
The question to ask yourself, now what is at the root of the
activities of the here and now? How did I get where I am right
now? A good way to get the answers is to work on a pet project
and as you work, let your mind do a review (you are so good
at this, you know). What will surface is an intricate little
mind map that can show you what your next move is. Your energy
profile is high for the month. There are definitely some exciting
changes ahead in late March and they are changes for the better.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)
Well! Just what you like! Romance and adventure, right off
the bat. Which one would you rather have? How about
both? And you may even have choices in the romance category.
With all this fun and drama it would be wise to have at least
one foot in the real world so your everyday affairs stay in
order. This is a good month to take command of your health.
What you may find surprising is, the more you address your
physical health, the more spiritually aware you will be.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec.
21)
If you look back on your personal history, you will notice
that February is always a month of change for you. This year
is not an exception. First you start at home. You may change
the furniture around or the color of a room. You may even
rewrite one of your habit patterns. The nice thing about these
changes is that they don't come from without, they come
from within. You know that it is the right thing to do. If
you have been financially wise in the past, February could
reward you. Plan an outing with nature. It is where you do
your best thinking.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan.
19)
Cupid's month may have you feeling a little disjointed
in the beginning but as the days tick along social connections
will unfold. These will make you feel more connected and grounded.
You'll experiment with some healing techniques now. They
may have been on the planet for a while but to you they seem
new. They will bring improvement for your future health. A
confrontation over resources could have your emotional button
engaged near the middle of the month. Be careful not to over-react.
Chill. This, too, shall pass.
