The Passionate Couple

Relationship can be the catalyst for passionate, spirit-filled living!  Then, “why do I feel I'm married to a stranger – that my relationship is depleting me of my very own life force,” you may ask.

Most of us know how to plan and execute exquisite weddings and project images of marital bliss, yet we have little training for developing healthy and passionate marriages. As the post wedding years become mere memories of perhaps a more innocent time and the honeymoon fades into a lost chamber of our hearts, we often feel isolated on islands of passionless existence. “Is my marriage over? Did we fall out of love and grow apart? Is there really such a thing as a passionate marriage?”

Yes, passionate marriages do exist; however, they take lots of hard work and they are not for the faint of heart! A passionate relationship often contains intense conflict - the kind of conflict that has the power to break a tender heart wide open, leaving couples feeling raw, exposed, and face to face with their own soul work! Most couples are not aware that conflict is not only a part of every passionate relationship it is a necessity! Conflict can provide couples with the opportunity to become whole and separate individuals while remaining connected to their partners.
