I know I wouldn't take anything for my bartending days and experiences. For all you single people out there, first of all don't be alone on Valentine's Day. Being lonely and being alone are  two very different things. Friends and family also depict a relationship. Man mandates certain untruths that make us feel less than whole if we don't have another half or partner. Those years behind a bar I watched many phenomena. I saw it all, the good, bad and the ugly all interacting. The great looking guy with the plain Jane, tall and skinny with short and fat. Every combination unimaginable. Love is Love, and never blinds.

My favorite thing to say on meeting someone is honey, don't worry about meeting Mr. or Mrs. Right, when you're supposed to meet that special person, they will trip you, fall on top of you and never let you up. End of Story!

 I have found that once we mature, which is a different age for men and women, we want a quality of life that will not be compromised. I don't mean we won't bend, I mean it won't be necessary. This is the year of change and that could mean a change from being alone to having that partner. The one thing you can do is work with the universe by stating verbally or in writing (or both) about the person you want. Ask and you shall receive. It's OK to be specific, we all know what turns us on, or think we do. But just in case, always ask for what's best for you and your highest good and the highest good of all concerned.

I'd like to mention one last thing; all relationships are special and you never know when you meet someone new, just how important that person will be to you or how many years you will share life's events. I'm a blessed lady, for all the wonderful people that share my life. I have a special friend that turns 88 years young this year and a girlfriend and her husband that have been close by for over 35 years. And a relatively new friend since we met in Israel back in 1997.

In a psychic reading in 2002 I was told many people from my past would pop back up, maybe for a short time just to say Hello again. That happened all year and has made me cherish all my relationships over again.
