Blend of “Heaven and Earth”:
Dr.
Doreen Virtue and Dr. Steven Farmer

Have you ever wondered if finding a spiritual partner really makes for a better marriage? Well, it does if you are Dr. Doreen Virtue and Dr. Steven Farmer, husband and wife team. Dr. Virtue's work focuses on speaking with angels and teaching others to do so and Dr. Farmer's work is linked to shamans and rituals. Dr. Farmer openly admits to being passionately and deeply in love with his wife and embracing her work. Wow! Several years ago, Dr. Virtue asked the angels to bring in her soul mate, someone in line with her work and willing to travel. She got a strong message to go to yoga classes. She couldn't see yoga as being very appealing, however, she listened. Sitting next to her was her future husband. As she got to know him, she found out that they had been next-door neighbors when she was five years old! He was a teenager and she even had a crush on him. They went their separate ways only to find many parallels in their paths, even attending the same college and receiving degrees in psychology. Now these two lovely people have stars in their eyes for each other. Both will be appearing at the Natural Health and Well Being Expo/Sacred Circle in Atlanta. Dr. Virtue will be giving a free workshop (with paid general admission) where she will be helping people heal their own lives by “facilitating experiences” for them. She told me she feels the people in Atlanta are the “best of the south”, with “big hearts and big vision”. She finds Atlantans open minded about spirituality. Dr. Virtue will do a few brief readings for people in the audience and concentrate on helping people break through self-made limitations. I have attended one of her seminars and I can attest you won't be disappointed. Her sincerity and loving warmth fills the room with peace. She can describe to you the angels and spirits in the room with you, even telling you about deceased pets whose spirits are running down the aisles. She
feels the events of September 11 have helped people
turn to spirituality and in the long run, that
will bring blessings. “We must remember to
not go in fear, but go into our power.” We
can manifest whatever we want and “in 2002,
light workers will see the magician in us come
out.” She believes that prayer is the most
helpful thing to do right now and we need to ask
our angels for help. She wants everyone to know
that angels always surround us. “They are
reading this article along with you.”
