Donna: What is your ministry's primary message?

Barbara: One [message] is that you are not separated from God. We do not adhere to the teaching that God is a man sitting away from us. We adhere to teachings of Jesus that God is spirit. They that worship him must worship him in spirit and truth. We believe that there is a presence that we call “God,” we call “Jehovah.” There are so many names for the power but that power is what permeates this world. It's an energy; it's an atom... whatever you want to call it, but there is a power. There is a presence that we feel permeates this universe and we are extensions of that presence into its own creation.

The power that created this universe created us so that it would have something to express. The power is in us but we can choose to accept or reject it because man has the power of choice. Realizing that you are not separated from God, then you have a feeling of oneness and therefore you're not requesting something and somebody is not hearing you or they are not answering when you want an answer. When you recognize and feel [that] God is attributes; joy, peace, strength, love. These are attributes of God so we [should] image God through being those attributes. And, of course, we use the Bible as our guidebook and other writers. See, we are not confined. We know that the Bible is the best selling book in the country. All of the teachings of the Bible represent a person or a place or a thing. They represent our consciousness. We're just repeats of what they do. We're in a different season, a different environment, a different time but we agree with the same adage. The energy hasn't changed.
