Tom Cross’artwork is in a realm where science and art meet and mix. With its roots in ecology and folklore, Cross says his work is wildlife or nature art that has gone “just a bit awry.” He combines ecological fact and fable with whimsical images and fuses traditional and unconventional techniques to convey the visions, dreams and realities of a world environmentally right with itself. | Leo’s brightest star is Regulus, Latin for “little king,” which describes perfectly this sign’s approach to life. Leos are natural leaders and performers who expect the best from themselves and others. Like the sun, which governs this sign, Leos are warm-hearted, direct, and most comfortable being at the center of things. Luxury and comfort are considered necessities for a Leo, and are shared generously with friends. When their fiery temper is aroused, their “roar” can be deafening, but passes just as quickly with no lingering resentment. Proud and self-confident, Leos are excellent managers and entrepreneurs, and their energy and enthusiasm are a ray of sunshine to all.

| “My inspiration comes from lots of sources, and ultimately from the Universe, the “all that is” that we are all a part of. Sometimes I see something someone else has done and take the kernel of the idea and let it change and grow in whatever way it wants to. Sometimes I have a vague idea of an image I´d like to create, and I go from there and let it grow. Generally, I feel that there is an energy, another dimensional “beingness”, if you will, that wants to be express through me and be given a form in this dimension. Sometimes it guides me very specifically as to what form to create and other times it just develops organically over time. At its best my work is a wonderful form of channeling and I feel so honored to be able to do it.
Creating this artwork is an ecstatic experience for me, and I hope that I can use it to help others manifest their dreams as well.” Email: info@nwcreations.comWebsite: http://www.nwcreations.com

Susan´s mystical artworks explore the hidden potentials of the Dreamer within each one of us. Using all the symbols of our natural world, she attempts to portray the vast array of energies surrounding us, with which we interact daily, to create the rich tapestries of our lives.
Human beings, like the finest gemstones, contain innumerable facets. Each one of these presents a different one of our ´faces´ to the world, and in turn allows us to see things from that particular perspective.
So, Susan invites you. Come dance the dream with her, through the galleries of her work. Recognize hidden/forgotten aspects of your Self in these pictures. Dust off your cobwebs, come and explore the not-so-mundane world we live in. And see life truly through your mystic Dreamer´s eyes.F63 Email: usiemly@iafrica.comWebsite: http://www.soulportraits.com

Beth Hansen has been a full-time artist since the spring of 2003, and has been creating drawing and paintings inspired by folktales, mythology, and fantasy literature for 15 years. In the autumn of 2000 Beth studied Flemish/Dutch oil painting techniques in still life and portraiture in the studio of Jeff Hurinenko in St. Paul, Minnesota, which helped fine-tune her already award winning skills as a painter. On December 10 of 2002, she was thrilled to receive 3rd place in the 2D Art Presentation category in the Duirwaigh Gallery Emerging Artist Competition.
Beth's visionary work has been featured in Seventh House Publishing&actue;s “Season's of the Witch” calendar in 2003 and will appear in the 2004 calendar as well. She has also done numerous illustrations for “Tales of the Unanticipated”, a speculative fiction small press publication. In addition to painting her own visions, Beth is currently accepting private commissions that give her more opportunity to explore images of faery and mythology.
ARTIST STATEMENT: “The themes that present themselves in my work are those of transformation and ethereal boundaries. Anthropomorphic characters such as faeries, mermaids, fauns, and dryads cross over into our world, opening up new possibilities of thought and influence. Inspiration comes from my studies into western and eastern mythology and mystical traditions, and time spent in nature.” Website: http://www.wyrdhaven.com

| Cover Art “Tribe of the Moon” was contributed courtesy of Maia Christianne Nartoomid and Spirit Heart Sanctuary. Maia combines her ability to perceive and channel realities and beings within the subtle spiritual worlds with her skills as a digital artist to produce images encoded with highly energetic symbols, archetypes and color combinations. These images have been reported to affect the psyche and DNA of an individual profoundly, helping them to integrate with their higher-dimensional beingness in a most easeful and graceful manner.
Maia: “I embarked upon my spiritual path in 1953 at the age of four years, when I began my astral journeys into a desert mountain where I was instructed by human-like beings and shown “machines” that looked almost identical to 21st century computers. In my 17th year of life, I re-established conscious communications with the wonderful beings who had guided me as a child. This led me into many realms, but I realized them all to be of the One Spirit Heart. My ability to “translate” from the akashic record of the planet opened the door for my written work, which I have pursued for over 35 years. I have since become a digital artist and am now able to bring the visions and faces from these realms into my art. I work with people both in word and image, to aid them in self-discovery.” Phone: 5054241052 Website: http://www.spiritmythos.org
