Can you believe I’m going to talk about “The Secret,” which of course isn’t a secret anymore. Oh yes, the Laws of Attraction are really good and I’m ecstatic that Mainstream Americans are getting educated. All the attention on this is bringing awareness and empowering massive amounts of people.
I’m very happy about the opening of minds that has become a movement of its own and gaining momentum throughout the US.
The thing that concerns me is “The Secret” seemed to make it sound like if you do a few simple steps and ask (really asked) for what you want you could get it, just like that! You could have it all. Well, not so fast; nothing happens that fast, and Yes, the Secret is right in theory but it takes time and lots of practice, and has a few complications, like life! What happens when the tests come? And what about Karma? Past debts, do they disappear?
Where does all that fit in?

This is a new way of getting on the Spiritual Path, and I trust and believe everything is in divine perfect order, so I’m sure it will prove to be the best way to get the “mainstream” on their path. I’m just thinking out loud, and reflecting on my own path and how disturbing it was to have dreams come through that rocked my world, changed my career and whole direction in life.

From the wake-up call to doing my inner child therapy, to wanting to learn it all, investigate sacred sites, and of course what better way to get in the middle of it than opening a metaphysical bookstore. My question is, “How will the masses get the ‘Ah-Ha’ that kept me inspired for almost 20 years?”
Most of us that teach and have a career in Metaphysics or the healing arts were awakened, shaken, and made to pay attention. We didn’t have “The Secret” and the TV shows or Spiritually-based movies that are around today to help us. When Sun Glo was around, a woman came in the store and cried to me because she was being ostracized by those she loved because she practiced meditation and used her intuition. All she wanted was to believe in her intuitive side and seek out classes that actually taught the “Laws of Attraction” AKA “The Secret.”

So you see the pioneers in this belief system had hard times keeping the faith and marching forward as well. Every era had its particular array of difficulties but looking back we have moved forward with pride and joyous accomplishments. Our foundation is strong enough to take on the challenges of today and the future.

I’m thrilled to be part of the mass consciousness movement of today and I know it will help the planet and make people happier. The Meta-language alone makes people aware of their negative thinking and helps them to be more positive, if they’re judgmental of others, and the best is it’s empowering because you know you can make a difference in your own right, but globally as well.

I believe we are living in the best time ever, but no-time/no-era is without trial and error. Metaphysics teaches us how to use right thinking, trust our intuition and how to use meditation to clear your mind so messages can come through. Prayer is you talking to God/Goddess but Meditation is God/Goddess talking to you.

So, as this information gets out and starts creating a wave of justice that allows all things to be balanced, we will be pure energy that can’t be seen or heard, but a force that can’t be defeated – like God’s silent army.

It took over 20 years for mass consciousness to accept that we can’t prove everything, especially God. The Universal/World sphere is always in motion – always pushing the human spirit to do more, be better, think wiser, and act now. More is always possible under God’s big plan. Under God’s brain nothing is always everything.

You know it’s Earth Day on April 22nd.
So, what are you doing to make a difference?
Have you seen the Al Gore movie, “An Inconvenient Truth?” Inside the cover of the DVD there are 10 things listed that you can do. Here they are:
Change a Light. Replacing one regular light bulb with a compact fluorescent bulb will save 150 pounds of carbon dioxide next year. Did you know that Australia has banned all regular light bulbs as of 2008??

Drive Less. Walk, bike, Carpool, or use the train. You’ll save one pound of carbon dioxide for every mile you don’t drive.

Recycle more. If you recycle just 1/2 your household waste you can save 2,400 pounds of carbon dioxide each year.

Check your Tires. Tires inflated properly can improve gas mileage by 3%. Every gallon of gas saved keeps 20 pounds of carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere.

Use less hot water. Installing a low-flow showerhead and washing your clothes in cold/warm water, both save 850 pounds of carbon dioxide per year.

Adjust your thermostat. Move your thermostat two degrees down in the winter, and up two in the summer. You just saved another 2,000 pounds of carbon dioxide each year.

Plant A Tree. A single tree will absorb one ton of carbon dioxide over its lifetime. Do this for Earth Day, April 22nd.

Turn off electronic devices. By simply turning off your TV, DVD, Stereo, and Computer when your not using them you will have saved thousands pounds of carbon dioxide per year.
