The month of April begins with three planets retrograde, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto. Jupiter retrograde is asking us to reevaluate what our future desires are, Saturn is about looking to see where we need to be more responsible to achieve our dreams, and Pluto is about owning our power to accomplish what we want. Mercury starts the month off in Pisces, moving slowly from its difficult journey in March with his retrograde. Any problematic troubles with communications, your car, or travel plans should be resolved by the 13th. Venus starts the month in Aquarius, the sign of friendships, and honoring our friends. The first weekend in April is excellent for doing your favorite activities with friends you love to hang out with. Venus moves into Pisces on the 5th, bringing with it the element of romance. Make time for romance, music, dance, and candlelight diners even if it is just you. The energy of Mars in the sign of Gemini is asking us to multi task until the 13th. Verbal sparring can lead to hurt feelings the weekend of the 8th. After the 13th Mars moves into Cancer, it is time to put effort into what makes you comfortable, such as your home, food, and activities that nurture your being. If you have been thinking about doing a juice fast this can be a good time. The full Moon on the 13th reminds us to find balance between what our needs are and the demands from others. Easter weekend the moon is in Scorpio bringing to us the desire to get to the bottom of what has been secret or hidden; this can be a weekend of deep introspection and spirituals insights. The Sun enters Taurus on the 20th shifting energy to enjoy the pleasures that life offers, good food, picnics outdoors, walks in the park. Aries (March 21 - Apr. 19)
You are on fire this month trying to catch up to everything that you want to do and still keep up with all the obligations you have made. You are in the spot light but burning the candle at both ends could wind up being costly. Your natural enthusiasm cannot be contained and you will share your exuberance with others. You may find you want to do something you always been a little afraid of, such as white water rafting or hang gliding. Look for a special ceremony that you can participate in that allows for spiritual growth. Sometimes what you want can be hidden, look beneath the surface of your emotional state to see what your inner being is longing for.


Taurus (Apr. 20 - May 20)
The first part of the month is a good time for reflection and introspection. The weekend of the 15th is an excellent time for a spiritual retreat. The new moon in your sign on the 27th brings a push to start your new birthday year. One of your life challenges is to move beyond fear of not having enough, or the fear of losing what you already own. Go for what is important to you in this moment, it doesn’t mean you will lose what you already have. Venus in Pisces from the 5th is a positive influence allowing the opportunity to spend time with friends in a relaxing and enjoyable surrounding. Attending spiritual seminars will bring new and dear friends into your life.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
Sparky, that is the best way to describe the energy around you this month. Connections in groups or spiritual retreat centers will put you in the spot light. You will strike up interesting conversations with strangers that feel as if you have known them for years. They will bring you a new perspective and point of view that you have been hungry for. The probability of misplacing papers is high now; pay attention to the details, misplaced documents could cost you money. A restless energy can keep you up late, remember your body and reconnect with exercise and meditation. Just when you think you had someone figured out they go and do something that throws you off, making the mental adjustment in whether or not to stay in contact with them will be easier if you think about what your want for the end result.

Cancer (June 21 - Jul. 22)
Work seems to be taking a lot of your time and mental effort. The urge to splurge on your home will send you to bargain hunt for a few quality pieces that you have had your eye on. Leo (Jul. 23 - Aug. 22)
A decision you have been pondering becomes clearer to you. The need to move forward in your life is heavy, are you happy in your relationships? Are you content in your job? Are you satisfied with your spiritual growth? This is an excellent month to ask these questions and take the appropriate action. Life is too short to waste it seeking someone else’s approval. Follow your heart longings and trust in your ability to make the right decision. Your energy may feel slow and sluggish the first week of April, but you know what you need to do. The battle with the “I don’t want to and you can’t make me” voice inside can beat out your best interest.


Virgo (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22)
Your month begins finishing up projects that make your life simpler, a better filing system, papers in order etc. then you can move onto enjoy a little romance. A trip is in order by the middle of March, relax and enjoy, you deserve it. Replace old habits of destructive criticism against your body by being loving and giving your body the nutrition it needs. It may cost you the friendship but do you really want to be in a friendship where you are the one who is always compromising for the sake of the relationship? You may have been going a little over your budget to pay for fun gatherings with friends, by the end of the month you will have an eye towards getting caught up. The full moon on the 15th has special meaning for you; take time to mediate and ask the universe to reveal the answer to an unspoken question that has been in your heart. Plans for travel begin to form, take command of the necessary arraignments and don’t leave the details to someone else.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 22)

Capricorn (Dec. 22 - Jan. 19)
