Labor Lost ???

Venus moves into talkative, sociable and versatile Gemini on the
3rd where it will stay until August 7th due to its upcoming retrograde
stationing in May. We'll want variety in our romantic and
social lives. We may find ourselves traveling in pursuit of pleasurable
activities. Most importantly, we'll want to communicate our
thoughts and feelings of love. On the 5th, the full Moon in Libra
will enlighten our need for beauty, balance and harmony in relationships.
Add to that Venus is dancing with Mars all month stirring up passion,
personal magnetism and charm, and you might think April would
be an ideal month for love, right? The Universe has other ideas
as it bestows a cosmic joke on us with Mercury turning retrograde
on the 6th. We all know that Mercury retrograde is a time to reflect,
rethink and review. It is also a time when communications go haywire.
We may wonder how much of our love labors will be lost! Remember
to keep a sense of humor as the Universe shows us the lighter
side of love and romance. The powerful New Moon in Aries on the
19th, which will produce a solar eclipse, would normally be an
excellent time to start new projects that are innovative and inspiring.
Wait until the beginning of next month. The Sun enters earthy,
practical Taurus on the 19th. We'll feel a need to be resourceful,
consistent and stable. Mercury turns direct on the 30th. We might
hear of comic romantic misadventures. What was it Shakespeare
said about the course of true love not running smoothly???
 Aries
(Mar. 20th - Apr. 19th)
Happy Birthday to our inspiring, daring, forceful and assertive
Rams! Your new astrological cycle begins. Time to make a statement
by putting your personal stamp on all you do. You need to rethink
what you've been communicating recently. Finances and values
have to wait a little longer to be addressed. Emotional partnership/relationship
issues arise on the 5th. You find yourself busier this month with
errands relating to topics such as money, possessions, or a significant
other. Tone down your urgency and intensity. The power of words
can often become a destructive weapon! After the 20th, you'll
notice an increased need to be more productive and conservative
by addressing your money making ability and re-assessing your
values.
Taurus
(Apr. 19th - May 20th)
Another astrological cycle comes to a close. Before you share
what you've been contemplating the past few weeks, the Universe
asks you to rethink and review. Reconnect with your spiritual
self. Look for even more divine inspiration. You needed a lot
of quiet time the past month in order to step forward and illuminate
us with your new ideas. Do this after the 30th. You've been
drawn to a lot of beautiful things and places recently. Have you
been able to resist the impulsive urge to purchase luxury items?
There could be the possibility of unexpected expenses. Some of
you found or will find you're in a position of greater financial
freedom. Work and/or health related issues you've been avoiding
could surface on the 5th.
Gemini (May 20th - Jun. 20th)
Venus entering your birth sign 'sweetens' your personality.
People will be naturally drawn to you. This is a good time to
ask for what you want. Wait until after the 30th. Your ruling
planet turns retrograde on the 6th. Outward communication turns
to inner self-communication. The Universe asks you to take a few
weeks to review and reorganize your multitude of interests. Goals
and plans need re-assessing. You could find certain group associations
or friends no longer exemplify what you truly stand for. The 5th
brings enlightenment to a creative project or a romantic involvement.
As your passion and desire are stirred up this month, take care
not to incinerate your intended with your 'burning' love!
Cancer (Jun. 20th - Jul. 22nd)
You've been going full steam pursuing your career or improving
your public image. Time to slow down this month and regroup. Some
ideas my not seem as lucrative as they did at first. Re-negotiations
may occur with superiors or authority figures. Major career moves
are best made next month. Devoting some time to charitable causes
or working behind the scenes will make you feel better and perhaps
ease some of that edginess and irritability whose origin seems
evasive. Some could discover a secret admirer or long to get involved
with one who is not available. Issues surrounding the home front
could be illuminated on the 5th. That's your area of expertise
isn't it?
Leo (Jul. 22nd - Aug. 22nd)
This is a favorable time of year for you to take a vacation –
especially long distance to foreign places with breath-taking
vistas. It¯s also a good time to go back and study subjects
that will expand your views of life. Foreigners or foreign cultures
could play an important role for you this month. While you are
fired up about some cause, or perhaps have taken a leading role
in some group, you could find a relationship with one of your
associates, or even a friend, has developed a romantic overtone.
The 5th brings some kind of enlightenment to your subjective communications
with others – or is there something in your everyday environment
that requires your attention?
Virgo (Aug. 22nd - Sept. 22nd)
This could be a very intense and emotional month for you. A lot
of your energy is directed inward. Take advantage of your ruler
turning retrograde on the 6th to get in touch with your deepest
feelings and improve your psychological health. You'll want
to investigate life's mysteries – metaphysical studies
will expand your horizons. Career activities are receiving favorable
notice from superiors this month. A promotion and/or raise could
be awarded. Be careful to keep the reigns tightened on that Martian
energy pushing you forward on the career front. Otherwise, you
might alienate those who would reward you for a job well done.
Expect enlightenment on the 5th regarding your values or a financial
matter.
Libra (Sept. 22nd - Oct. 22nd)
Partnerships/relationships require your natural ability to create
balance and harmony this month. Unresolved issues must be addressed!
One-to-one encounters will be important. They teach you a lot
about yourself. Travel with a loved one may occur. Places of incredible
beauty will soothe your soul. Business trips are favored, but
if you're on a buying trip, it's best to make final purchase
decisions after the 30th. Expect to find that craving for new
experiences intensified. Planning a long distance move? Wait until
next month. There will be some awareness brought to a personal
emotional issue on the 5th. Your inborn tact and diplomacy will
see you through!
Scorpio (Oct. 22nd - Nov. 21st)
Usually this time of year work and health issues seem to arise
for you – especially this month with the Mercury retrograde
making you go back and re-evaluate those plans and ideas you want
to implement at work. Re-examining health concerns and rethinking
a new diet or exercise regimen may be necessary. It will help
keep your natural 'sting' potent. The need for intense
physical and emotional encounters will lure you. Those of great
intimacy and depth will make you feel alive! If there have been
arguments over joint finances, taxes or inheritances, disagreements
should begin to smooth over. You become aware of the need to spend
some quiet time alone on the 5th.
Sagittarius (Nov. 21st - Dec. 21st)
Let your inner child out to help you experience the joys of life!
Your natural friendly and humorous demeanor will shine. Romance
could heat up this month. Remember there is other Universal energy

Capricorn (Dec. 21st - Jan. 20th)
The home front is ablaze with activity. An excellent month for
spring-cleaning! There will be numerous conversations and several
may take a nostalgic turn. Many of you will be in some kind of
hibernation mode desiring to stay around the home. Even though
this is a good time to consider investing in real estate or purchasing
a new home, DO NOT do so until next month. Lately the work arena
may have erupted with gladiator-like confrontations. More peaceful
and civil behavior will begin to extinguish the flames of discord.
Concerns regarding career activities or possibly the way you present
your public image will be illuminated on the 5th. Private issues
could become public matters!
Aquarius (Jan. 20th - Feb. 19th)
Activity in your daily environment shifts into high gear. You
may find yourself having to re-run many errands and realize communications
have been misunderstood. Use the Mercury retrograde to go back
and check facts and figures. This is an excellent time to write
down and crystallize those thoughts and ideas in a personal journal.

balance and harmony. The 5th brings heightened awareness to your
need to expand your higher consciousness for a wider perspective
of life and your role.
Pisces (Feb. 19th - Mar. 21st)
Reviewing values and finances take on additional importance this
month. Reconsider whether or not your values reflect your inner
self, and be rethinking those new ideas to increase your income.
You'll be in automatic shopper mode this month. Major purchases
should NOT be made until after the 30th to prevent buyers'
remorse! There's been a lot of energy pushing you to renovate
your home and now Venusian energy will encourage you to enhance
the appearance of your surroundings. Family disputes can now be
settled with peaceful discussions. Issues regarding emotional
intimacy may surface on the 5th, or concerns regarding taxes,
insurance, inheritances or joint finances.
