My young neighbor, reach into your heart and find your authentic truth. Find the real things in life that matter to your spirit. Find out why you are weary of cleaning your yard and driveway. Are things in life so much better with cement that is swept in contrast to cement that is cluttered with flower petals? Is cement, contrived, man made and unnatural, actually necessary for a long and happy life? If you don't love nature as it is, focusing instead upon a conditioned, self imposed order, it is nearly impossible to love and respect yourself. Accept your unordered self complete with your faults, misgivings, imperfections and errors, knowing that you are a beautiful part of Spirit. Never impose upon yourself those conditions that are contrary to authenticity. Embrace nature and its creations with love, honor, and respect that your life may be enriched with a better understanding of universal truth. Next time you enjoy my yellow contribution to Fall, take with it the memory of the intensity of the experience. Next time you find yourself in a sea of dead leaves, realize that the leaves must fall before they can renew again. As my leaves are perceived as a problem to you now, compare them to the real troubles that fall into each life, unwanted and actually in the way. Each crisis must be dealt with as the leaves that fall every year must be raked, and yes, it does require effort to clear your path again. You will have the opportunity to grow renewed, with all of the colors and movement of life, so that your laughter breezes may rustle your very existence, your soul experience. Next time your dead leaves seem to be falling into your ordered space, try instead to just lie down in the present moment as your young children lay in the piles of leaves that you raked years ago, basking in the joy of hopeful change coming with new understanding.

Finally, my neighbor, as you watch my seed pods float into the earth to grow and continue poplar life, think of the many changes and beginnings that you have had with Spirit as each lesson is learned. Each brings with it a new start of life, understanding, self respect, and reality. All seeds are good, so let them fall into your life space, your own earth, in order that they might grow into wisdom for your journey.

So you see, my friend, there are similarities between our lives, after all. Enrich your life by focusing upon the good that nature has offered you instead upon self imposed negativity. Remember, every challenge is actually an opportunity. May your path be filled with the love of Spirit as you discover the wonders that each season will bring into your life.
